Anyone manage to find the 2019 or 2020 maps for Australia Premium?
The last one seems to be 2018 and many new roads have been built since then

I'd be happy to post a link once they send me the files. They reckon it'll be up within a couple weeks. Hopefully that's accurate. |

Hey Guys,
2020 Aus/NZ Premium Maps have been acquired. I've tested it working this afternoon on my own car. I already had a lifetime fsc code generated so I wasn't prompted to input one. The file is in a .tar format but it'll unzip the same as usual using 7-zip or a similar program. https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...gj?usp=sharing |

Updated the maps to Australia Premium 2020. The last maps were the 2018, so it is great to see the new maps finally come out for CIC units. I ended up having problems with mine (nothing to do with the maps 2020 themselves though)
For generating your own FSC code, you can add a new entry in the Lookup.xml for the new maps. The SWID is 00300046 (which can be looked up in the Info_Map.imp I loaded the unit onto a USB drive and appeared to load, but the CIC unit reset halfway through for some reason. This resulted in the CIC unit refusing to update via USB, despite trying 2 usb sticks, including trying to load in the 2018 data. The unit would display "USB device with navigation data is unreadable. Continue update?". The maps were also corrupt on the unit itself, with the Navigation menu greyed out. Previously, I had installed an SSD upgrade on the CIC unit, so this meant I had a backup of the HDD data. I removed the SSD and reimaged the drive (with Paragon Partition Manager). I had a backup from a few years back which had the 2017 maps on it. This brought the navigation menu back, reattempted the Australian 2020 map update which completed successfully! Alternatively, you could also reflash the CIC unit with an ICOM cable and WinKFP, and this would nuke all the data and allow you to apply the update. This would be considerably more hassle. Big thanks to roger9546 for making these available!

Only works for CIC with PREMIUM maps (Professional nav).
I think NBT needs 'NEXT' maps. Try this other thread for NBT-2020 maps (you'll also need your own FSC code): https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...7#post25566297 |

Just wondering if anyone might be able to help. I'd previously successfully updated to the 2018 maps and did the update to the 2020 maps.
The update completed (all I did see it jump from around 70% to 100%) and restart like normal. But since that restart my iDrive now continually reboots every 30-45 seconds. Does anyone have any ideas or have something similar? Thanks |
