who's the hook up or preferred tire guy?

Found a bubble on my front passenger side tire. Checking with BMW on possible defective tire but, i'm expecting they are going to say i'm on my own. I'm about to turn 12k miles so I'm within a year of replacing anyway if it comes to that.

Christian referred me to Discount tire on 94th and 20th east. Bought my tires from tire rack, and groupawheels.com

I always buy at discount tire (spent about 3k there) so the guy always gives me above invoice so I can see if he will do it for all of us.

I had a decent weekend. What I've been wanting to do is organize a drive in the near future. Let's put these machines to work and do a tour of some kind.

So BMW or rather Michelin is not going to warranty my tire. Can't say i'm surprised. Time to go tire shopping.

Don't think so. I'm sure it's a good tire but, so much more than I will ever need. I just don't drive that much or need that much tire. Also, i'm a little disappointed in Michelin. BMW of Murray took my tire off, inspected the bubble, and determined it was a defect. They reported it to Michelin and they opted to not cover it as a warranty or acknowledge the defect. In my mind a defect is a defect regardless of mileage or the circumstances. Anyone remember how well Firestone did on Ford Explorers years ago? Michelin won't be getting any of my money.
