Selling my TR Motorsports MT1s with Nitto NT05s on them. Or maybe just the wheels, as I have a buyer for the tires if I need to part out.

I finally got my new APEX EC7 rims for the track with new NT01 rubber. I seem to get about 7 track days out of set of tires. I cant wait to see how they look on the green machine.
Just in case it rains, Hoosier West Radials mounted on APEX ARC8s in expectation for the upcoming Mosport event. The homestead is definitely feeling like a tire store with over 36 tires mounted on various rims and another 12 partially used RComps waiting to be corded. Anyone looking for 17" RComps (R888 and NT01 255/40/17) and 17" x 8.5" Koseis track rims? Photos available. I also have a set of 19" Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 (275/30/19 and 255/35/19) on Replica BMW LM-EX1 rims. Photos available.

Wait a second, I hope that picture on the left of a tire balancing machine isn't in your garage.
(although..... with 36 tires......... I don't even know, maybe a wise investment, haha)

Pics look good. I might consider these the next time I have a 5x120 bolt pattern as I won't have my TRs anymore (hopefully they'll be sold by then :P)
They don't make any other pattern than 5x120 eh?

You still in Montreal or do they have you out in the hinterlands? I hope all is well. Hope to see you one of these days during one of our meets.

Ha. Another one leaves the E90 club.
Soon this will literally be just a hangout thread. But please, let's not move it to **************.

not a bad choice... i've seen a lot of fast 993s on the track with the right mods...
what i learned from my Pcar experience... the cars are can be daily driven but are definitely not daily driver friendly... the ride of my pcar is more harsh and there's less sound insulation than the m3... ground clearance around town seems to be an issue as well. i seem to be scrapping the front lip of my car everywhere i go. to sum it up - as a daily car, i'd much rather drive the wife's STI... of course its a different story on the track. so the question is, how much track time are you going to be doing ? some things to note about the 993s when shopping around: - they had defective wiring harnesses and front airbags. both were recalled by porsche so make sure the previous owner took this car in and got the recall fix performed. - the 993 had primary and secondary air injection system. this should be checked out by a porsche mechanic before purchase. otherwise it might result in a very expensive top end rebuild due to clogged secondary air ports. - if you are considering the targa model, make sure you do a water test on the glass roof because it is susceptible to leaks. the old seals might have to be taken care of. - check the suspension bushings in the front control arms since they tend to wear out pretty quickly. however, this isnt that big a deal since it is easily replaceable.

lol... i did the same research on the 997s... i found a few 993s for good prices in the past and thought it would make a good track car but the 996 and 997s seem to be a little more reliable. so decided to wait for one of those.
