13.064 @ 109.17 mph

There was another guy there with an '02 E39 M5 and his best run was 13.24 @ 104.7, and he has hundreds of passes in that car.

1) 2007 335i Coupe 03/07 production, steptronic
2) 1000' elevation, 73 F, 70% relative humidity
3) JB3 1.3 map 6, aFe DCI
4) 3/8 tank of 93 octane Citgo
5) No weight reduction to the car, and I weigh 235 pounds
4) Stock Bridgestone runflats
5) I have hundreds of dragstrip passes with manual transmissions. This was my first time out with an automatic.
6) Hopefully the picture shows up. I'm number 104, in the left lane

1) 2007 335i Coupe 12/06 production, MT
2) DA = 1520 ft
3) Dinan Stage 2
4) 3/8 tank of 93 octane
5) No weight reduction to the car, and I weigh 160 pounds
4) Stock Bridgestone runflats
5) I have hundreds of dragstrip passes with manual transmissions. The track was really tricky and slick. This was my first time in the bimmer.
6) No photo. Car #53

The track was not prepared at all for the night *cheapskates*. My second run was the quickest. By the third run there was too much dew on the track and it spun really bad in first and second gear.

Run #1 13.27 @105.44
Run #2 13.04 @104.92
Run #3 13.44 @105.88

this is making me consider an automatic because it seems to work very well however i heard the tranny isnt made to take a lot of power and that the manual will hold up a lot better over time. the more research i do the more confused i get

Thanks Stock runflats, No xi, regular i sedan. The track prep was good that day, so that helped of course. I must have made 40 passes that day, with many almost identical runs. I think I was running like 29 or 30 psi.

For whatever reason my car seemed to have an almost perfect power to traction ratio. Brake boost at the line & let her rip.

My GTR can only manage 1.8xx 60' on a good day..

Stock runflats are not that bad for launching IMHO. I think their weight is the bigger issue with them..

1) Model and Transmission - 335i - Step
2) Elevation, Temp and Humidity - Sealevel, 80 degrees, 80% Humidity
3) All performance modifications done to the car - Stock
4) Level of gas ran and how much gas in the tank? - Half tank, 93
5) Any weight reduction done to the car? - None
4) Type of tires and rims? - Stock 18 Runflats
5) Years of driving the type of transmission? - Couple years
6) 13.65 @ 102 - 2.0 60' - Orlando Speed World

Brake boost to a bit over 2k .. shifting at about 6k .. Gotta say I'm pretty happy with it considering it was hot and humid, and the bad rap OSW has for being a crappy track

So anyways nice driving skills.

Be safe out there.
Just so you know. More wheelspin results in faster trap speeds with lower ET and 60' times.
Less wheelspin, aka better launch and lower 60', yields a lower ET.

N54 drag record, again!

2) Elevation, Temp and Humidity: DA: 2690 ft (temp 93, humidity 88%)
3) All performance modifications done to the car: see narrative below
4) Level of gas ran and how much gas in the tank? 1/4 tank on 100 octane
5) Any weight reduction done to the car? Passenger seat removed
4) Type of tires and rims?? Hoosier 245/40/17, Kosei K-1 rims 17x8.5" (18 lbs)

6) Obviously some type of proof of your 0-60 time, trap speed and finally quarter mile time. Time slips: Best ET 11.63 at best MPH: 119.76

Hello All,
I've been encouraged to post my new record drag times from Saturday at Florida's Bradenton Morotsports Park. Although it was hot, hot, hot and horribly humid -- and the fast cars were turning low times -- I managed a best ET of 11.63 at 119.76 MPH. That's a new record for the N54. Time slips below. All of my 8 runs were in the 11s, from 116 to 119.76 mph.

I had the newest JB3 1.4 piggy, methanol, 100 octane, IRC custom exhaust and intake using BMS DCI filter. Also, Code3 FMIC, Ar DPs, Quaife LSD, Kosei K-1s with Hoosier drag radials.

I plan to be more active on this forum, and I welcome all of you sensible, courteous guys and gals to come over to the N54Tech.com as well. Best wishes to all. Cheers! Larry

Forgot to point out: 60' times were all 1.6s and 1.7s. Very consistent ... I'm very happy considering the hot weather and the track was not prepped until after my runs ... waiting for cooler weather for low 11s HOPEFULLY!

2008 335xi coupe Steptronic with Sport package
2) Sea Level, 62 degrees but don't know Humidity
3) K&N Panel filter, Dinan STGII and Borla Exhaust
4) 1/4 tank of 93 octane.
5) No weight reduction other than lighter rims.
4) 18" Volk RE30 rims with and Goodyear all seasons
5) Alot of years with Automatics. 2500rpm launch in M1 with DTC off.

60' 1.902
1/4 13.047 hitting the brakes at the end.
Mph is much lower than what it should be because of braking since I was bracket racing. Still broke out by .003 seconds and lost. I don't believe it was a 12 second run though. Most likely 13.02 or so if I didn't hit the brakes at the end.

0.24 second improvement from before adding the exhaust.

Congrats on the runs ! Your car looked fast out there. When are you going back? Next time with less fuel in the tank, maybe you can break the Bone Stock record for a 135..

See ya at the track.... Maybe Dec 2 or 4?
