Asked my dealer and he hasn’t heard anything yet, I know there may some delay due to location so if anyone in Oklahoma gets one, please let me know. I’m first on the list at my dealer but I just wanna see the car in flesh 😂

My guess given that you are number one, your car might be built, not shipped prior to seeing one. Just a hunch.

I am still not sold on the rear of the car, but I want to see it and compare it to our F87 in other ways (overall size / proportions).

I was shocked at how much bigger the G80 looked in comparison to my old F80 - I know the new M2 is wider, which is probably good, but I hope it doesn't look / feel a ton larger.

They have got to be shipped to multiple ports and then go through the various VPC processes. I suspect with all the HEAs set at priority 3 BMW NA will hold them at the VPCs until we move closer to an official launch date.

Not really. No. If you can located an available one with specs you can live with and does not have a heavy ADM, might as well snag it! Naturally one would be a very early beta-tester, but most of us are going to be beta-testers with the first model year anyways.

Better comparison, the G42/G87 looks the size of an E92. Personally, I wish it was more of the size of an E46 coupe.

They vary in regards to options and transmissions. Only built in ZB and BG.

Edit, the 10th character in the VIN represents the model year. It is P = 2023.
