I just got a dragy recently but the weather here is poor so didn't get to use it. The car feels like it'd go high 10s with a solid launch. Looking to move to NC this year, so hopefully both of those situations change a bit |

It depends. Don't forget that's how BMW designed this car to perform, big mid-range power from a low RPM. You couldn't have your cake and eat it too it back then.

"Please I'd like to see a N54 with 100 more tq than horsepower. BTW I'm talking FT lbs not NM."
That is close, about 75 wtq difference. The real question is, why do you want to see a N54 with 100 more tq than horsepower? It can be done via tuning.

What's your point? It was performed on flat ground. The only difference from an actual dyno would be the scaling based on tire/weight/etc. The torque will still be higher than horsepower regardless of how you slice it.

I have the Pure600's, and i have zero idea how you guys are making 28-30 psi. i posted datazap as well, would really like to know how you guys are getting that boost out of these turbos. I have 2" stock location inlets, i have outlets, Helix 3X Race IC, Dowpips, stock catback... Any input or reasoning on this? Is my tune conservative? Tuned on E50 with Renegade Pro E85 and Shell 93 Octane |

I am just trying to verify if i have a boosting issue, because many of the other people that have pure600's make a flat line boost of around 24 to 23 psi, where my car seems to taper off to 21 twoards redline.
all the people I talked to have the same tuner. The only variable that i could see is that i do my datalogs in much cooler climates (45 degrees) but everyone elses wastegate duty cycles are the same as mine, but make 3-4 psi more than my setup. That's why im trying to determine if something is wrong with my car in terms of having a boost leak or issue. Anyway someone wants to take a look at the log and determine if it appears to have a leak? To me, it looks like the car is struggling to hold boost. It runs awesome, but just doesnt seem to make the same boost as all the other setups ive seen. |

I am actually thinking about getting those pure 600. I am just wondering if anyone has a used pair and a good shop to bring them in that’s reasonable price

That’s true I’m going to weigh out my options because if I decide to bring it to a shop I might as well just do it right the first time the labor isn’t cheap |
