Awesome info. I've had JB3 Map 5 before I upgraded to JB4 on MAP 1 and always thought my JB4 on Map 1 felt like it pulled much harder then the JB3 on Map 5. This proves my butt-dyno was correct!

I think Dinan shows what their numbers are on race fuel. thats why your numbers are so far off. I could be wrong but i swear i've read that somewhere...

This is just a baseline dyno of my stock 2009 335i. Dyno was a Dynapack.

why are the number so different from bms's number
jb3-4 should AT LEAST give it 330 to the wheels. Stock dynos read 270-80 some even read above 300. how can a jb3-4 n54 dyno less then 300 hp? |

From what I've found, the Dinan numbers are with Stage 2 software only, 93 octane, and an 85mph fan. Mine were Stage 2 software, intake, intercooler, 92 octane, and a fan that wasn't worth much, if anything. My other concern, though, is that someone on this same page got 290+ hp on a stock motor. I know there can be differences with the dyno's, etc. |

It was done on a Dynapack. From my understanding, those tend to read higher than normal. DynoJet is in the middle and Mustang tend to dyno lower than the rest. Once a tune is added, the gains should be inline with everyone else with a similar setup. That's why it's important to get a baseline and to use the same type of dyno for accuracy. |

Thanks. Mod list has been planned long ago, but unsure when I'll get them.
