You have to reset 2urad and it will get recoded based on the VO.

I'm looking to do this for my 2010 base to HiFi. I purchased the From-3/09 kit: 65412163268. I am planning on coding to HiFi and switching the switch on the amp to position 1. For the coding, I'm under the impression of adding $676 to the VO and coding the Cas, 2uard, and Cic module in expert mode after adding. Does this seem to be correct before diving into the install??

Thanks

Cic does not use the 2urad files or there versions.

Cic does not use the 2urad files or there versions.

For cic

First add $676 to VO, then FA_write in FRM and CAS.

Then, using NCS, with the profile "expert", code the following modules :

CHOST
CAPPL
CGATE
CAUDI
CTUNE

to code, you just have to make an "SG_CODIEREN" on the modules, with expert profile. NO BLANK .MAN FILE ! No need to read the modules first, just code...

Then stop the car, wait for a few minutes (useless ?) and enjoy for Hifi !

If you just add an amp for front speaker and sub, the the PDC sounf from the rear will become low, but just enough.

JBL MS-A1004 only has an electronic crossover not DSP

JBL MS-A1004 only has an electronic crossover not DSP.
Its not a DSP in the sense that it has 32 band of eq and time delay.
It only has electronically adjustable crossover points instead of adjustment
pots. Donwload the manual.
I don't see an evidence that the business radio is reprogrammable
on this forum .

I have E91 LCI 2011 with idrive 2 (CIC) with radio professional, if I add alpine kit I have to do this?

First add $676 to VO, then FA_write in FRM and CAS.

Then, using NCS, with the profile "expert", code the following modules :

CHOST
CAPPL
CGATE
CAUDI
CTUNE

what I have to do to these ECU's?

It's also valid this procedure?

Guys I've read through all the threads on recoding the headunit to HIFI but I cannot see the forest for the trees.

Is there any step by step DIY guide for coding to HIFI? I do have ISTA / NCSexpert etc and know my way around a little bit.

My car is a German 2009 E90 with the base "professional" audio system, no navigation.

I'm also installing a DSP amplifier so I might not even have to recode to HIFI, is that correct?
