I haven't purchased a CPO vehicle through BMW so I'm unsure how those warranties work. If you purchase a Dinan Tune for a vehicle that has a CPO warranty, I'm not sure if it supplements the CPO warranty as it would the original manufacturer's warranty. From what I have read on various forum threads, Dinan tunes will prevent a vehicle from qualifying for CPO status upon resale.

Wow the price difference on JB3 and procede is crazy and results are so close. These are all the pros what abt the cons of these tunes. Anyone blow an ecu yet or a motor. New 335 owner how much can these motors really with stand. Also very interested in one of these tunes, just really don't want to make a wrong decision bc its a very expensive car plus its a lot of money just gamble with and just to hope for the best. Any help abt deciding would be greatly appreciate it, abt to get one of these tunes in a month or so.
PM if possible. |

I don't know if this was mentioned, but something to consider is the residual value of the piggyback systems vs. the flashes. With a piggyback you can remove and sell the system for market value upon selling your car. With a flash, it either stays on the car or you pay the dealer to flash stock mapping back on. There is zero residual value for a reflash when you are done using it. Something worth noting for people that only keep thier cars for 1-2 years, IMO.
