I just hear it sometimes when I watch YT videos about Jordan sneakers. So for all our education's sake here it is: Quote:

This is a very poor comparison. Aesthetically, most tvs look exactly the same as far as their shape and differ in technology inside, whereas iDrive7 looks completely different than iDrive8 on the outside. I’m not knocking iDrive8 (even though I prefer iDrive7) but I agree with Bandit that the latter looks less cohesive, has more glare and no hood/shape for the instrument cluster. Not to mention that the speedometer/tach is scrunched up in the center of iDrive8 by contrast. I do like the larger navigation real estate of iDrive8. Throw in the chicken nugget shifter and loss of most useful physical buttons, and my choice was clear. No hate here, just a personal preference.

I did not consider buying the M240 until they upgraded to the new curved displays. I have had an M340 for 3 years and the last thing I wanted to do was get a new car with the same aging iDrive. The new tech is amazing. Massive OLED displays with much higher resolution all backed by a much faster processor. Man, people love to complain.
