Every dealer ive used so far aint worth a w**k.... well apart from some of the receptionists. But the service and level of quality of servicing etc is diabolical.

Carl, why don't you name the dealers you've used and not been happy with. Then others may be able to point you towards dealers you haven't listed that may provide very good service.

Scothall Watford - in terms of servicing or repairs; the best I have encountered. Do not ever go near Dick Lovett's anywhere.

Too Young?

I'm 22 and went for a test drive in a e92, I was asked could I actually afford a car even tho I turned up in my old 330i e46. I was really angry and did business elsewhere even the city dealer kept asking on the test drive why aren't you going to your local dealer why are you here? i.e are you wasting my time. I ended up buying from there because I got a good deal but its going to be a internet deal next time, definatly

Went to Lister Park/JCT600 today to look at some colours in real life. I could not believe how disinterested they were. Oh, and uninformed. One of the reps who grudgingly spoke to me told me that space grey was one of the new colours on the 3 series ....

Was giving them a try after getting brassed off with Sandal (formerly Almondbury).

I think Space Grey is new to the facelift E90/E91. They must have reached their targets for the month already then!

I've used Scotthalls Hampshire for 3 cars (a Mini Cooper S, z4 coupe and my current e92) and they have been great every time. Used them for servicing as well without any problems.

They have been happy to let me take their cars on extended test drives and are pretty good at getting in touch when they say they will.

All in al a good experience and I would recommend them.

J.

The E60 I bought from Scothall Watford and then the 335D from Dick Lovett in Bristol as they offered the best deal. Personally I found the new car sales at Dick Lovett to be exceptional and way beyond Scothall.

For servicing I have only ever used Scothall as they are local and I've no complaints at all but they are nowhere near Lexus standards.

I stand corrected. I don't know whether he knew I was talking about the E92, such was his level of disinterest!

I'm not sure what their problem was. The problem is, I don't know where the next nearest dealer is! Possibly Scothall in Leeds.

Berry BMW - Avoid them like

Wow... I was stunned.

They charge £180 per hour and then on top of that I had to wait 40 mins to see a SA, I bought my car in for rattles, which they said they couldnt find.
Even though they are apparent at 30mph. My lighter doesnt work properly and i wanted my door aligned and bonnet done.

The bloke ended up telling me that they couldnt replicate any of the things i mentioned and to top it off, they always leave grease marks on my leather and dash and door leather etc. They did fix the error i had for brake lights though.

Absolutely disgusting, they were actually trying to fob me off with bull shit.
The bloke did try and say he wants to book me in for a more thorough investigation , ... I'm looking to try battersea BMW or Somewhere else closer to twickenham - any reccomendations guys.
