Nope. Our H7 kit will literally replicate your vehicle's OEM beam pattern.

yeah i got it installed tonight. it took a long time, but i still need to mount the ballasts and the resistors as they are just hanging loose right now inside my bay.... I think one of the resistor melted something on the way back home. I don't know where to mount the resistors just yet. but both sides work WITHOUT ERRORS

Sounds great! I'm waiting on mine and should have them no later than Wednesday. I looked in the bay and I couldn't figure out where to mount anything.

Did you do it yourself? Steve mentioned that it was completely pnp, did you have any other issues other than taking a long time? How is the beam pattern?

I hope to see some pics, whenever you get to it!

Hello Steve. I have a stupid question. I originally had the halogens and have put on the xenons. Do you have a kit with a bulb that will fit in the xenon housing. I believe the original bulb is a DS1. I saw a kit on your site that has DS2 bulbs for a H7 kit. Would this work, Philips 4300k HID D2S Retrofit Kit?

I belive that the D2S bulbs will technically fit. The problem may be securing them as your headlights are designed to secure a D1 type bulb.

Thats what I think as well. The xenon clips were meant to hold the DS1 bulb, but it looks as though the halogen clips will hold a DS2 bulb. Will the kit I list above work for my situation?

Would it be possible to call you to discuss? It might be easier to do so over the phone. I just want to get a better understanding of what it is you're trying to accomplish.

Only one week left until its time for our next draw. Time to give away another free HID conversion kit.

Steve, I got my kit today and I must say I am pretty excited! I read the instructions and I do not see any mention about the resistors. What do I do with them? Do I have to use them or not?

yes you do, i tried turning on the lights without them ... and trust me you dont wanna know what happened lol

wire them across the black and white wires of the harness that connects to your OEM headlight socket.

Hey buddy,

Shoot me an email and I will send you instructions on how to install them. You definitely need to use them with your vehicle.

Jae, thanks for chiming in! I'm glad I didn't do the installation today. I think I will do it Friday morning. Did you manage to get any pics? I think I have an idea of where I am gonna let the ballast, etc. sit. I hope it works.

I have a few questions for you:

1. Where did you connect the wire that hooks up to the +ve terminal of the battery?

2. When I let the bulb sit in place, should the metal wire kinda thing be on the top or the bottom?

3. Did you put the dust cover back on or leave it open?

Thanks!

Ram

1. you can connect both positive wires to here with 10mm wrench

2.I'm not sure what youre saying, but it should be the same as replacing regular H7 halogen bulb. the top metal thing should be on the top.
3.you have to close it to cover it from water & what not.
