Is this fully compatible in Australia?
What about the traffic program?

Will I be able to code in the same way that I code my 2008 e90 with CCC Business?

Is it possible to change between CCC and NBT? e.g. Changing from NBT back to OEM CCC iDrive before sale of the car.

NBT retrofit is fully compatible in Australia.
Traffic updates are supported by NBT.
NBT coding is not the same as CCC coding. For NBT coding you will need special software, different cable and different knowledge.
It is possible to install NBT instead of CCC. You will also be able to re-install the CCC before selling the vehicle.

eNBT Coding Utility

In the near future all of our eNBT Retrofit Adapters will come with a eNBT Coding Utility*.

The utility is already available for download free of charge (from our online store) and it will let you code required NBT settings for proper operation in E-series vehicles.

No special coding knowledge will be required for this: you will be able to select the desired options on your computer screen, and by doing so, will be able to correctly code the NBT to work in E-series.

Can you guys put a firmware number and release date next to it so people can easily know when new version was released.
I bought eNBT adapter from you guys but I do not know what is firmware installed on it. How do I find out that?

Is there a way to check what firmware I have at the moment on my emulator?
My emulator came with locking mechanism and I had to get the key to activate it fully..


I am having issues. I just want to see if there is any update which resolves it.

Basically when I start the car 7/10 times it works fine. 2/10 times it takes 10-15 second to turn on NBT as screen stays black as if car is not running.
And 1/10 time it does not turn on at all and I have to manually switch the volume button to turn it on.

It looks like the version of the software in your eNBT Retrofit Adapter is old. This is a very old bug (from July), which has already been fixed. Please download the latest firmware update here: www.bimmerretrofit.com/updates

Hi, could I get pricing on this kit? I assume it works for E9x M cars as well? Will it work with the Bimmertech rear view camera (same as every other rear view camera except has dynamic guidelines)?

Hi, reading around the web rised some other questions. NBT unit has a direct USB cable to the armrest USB port. What is the function of it? Playing mp3 and updating maps on the unit? Is playing files from USB drive working fine? Updating maps is also working fine from this USB port?

Do i need to buy NBT unit from a specific F series or anyone will do? Can I use from F20 series? Do I have to send unit to you to code it or is it possible to do it remotely?

USB in the armrest can be used to update maps, to play music from phone and from USB stick. It can also be used to play videos from USB sticks/portable hard drives.

This NBT version will work with our eNBT retrofit Adapter, however keep in mind that this NBT version is very basic.
