If we were betting pink slip I would have had a brand new EVO. Speed trap and ET dont mean shit when your racing a 1/4. What matters is who gets across the line first.

Like I said I totally was at the disadvantage against that EVO

Lol only you would get owned and claim a victory. Why makes you think he was trying to leave on the tree? Lots of people don't give a shit about reaction times.

Why did it end up working out that way? Even though you beat him shouldn't your time be really low? Not questioning it, just don't know, newbie.

That's so wierd. I see you won, I still don't get it. Isn't the faster time usually the car in front? Or did it have to do with your guys's launch?

Exactly, I was scratching my head along with EVO driver also. It just didnt make any sense. His launch was a beast to mine, it was a damn tug of war down the track.

You won because he had to manually shift his car. His shifts didn't sound very clean and sounded slow.

buraq u lost, no way would he have a higher trap and lower et and loose. his light was probably a split second behind yours or maybe he did start late but according to the big screens at the end of the strip you lost.... NOW if this was pinks yes you would have owned an evo....

He started after you look at 14sec

buraq simply treed the guy. the other guy obviously had a slower reaction time which can be just enough to keep the other guy chasing you.......op out jumped him at the tree and held it

btw my kill story was with a pretty cammed out mustang. i had just put in the new firmware and had not nailed on it yet, ran across this mustang from a roll and stayed head to head, my car hiccuped(firmware learning) and he slipped away. we both overshot our turn so we made a u turn and came to a light. we looked at each other, light changed, after a half of block i started walking away.
he gave me the thumbs up and parted.......i've got to get to the track to see what it runs.

Both of you are correct and on the dime with your answers. Very good constructive explanation. Faster shifting and reaction time of the 335iS is what won that race even though the EVO was superior in power.

That EVO would have aventually pulled ahead of me.......

He clicked his slappy paddles down to unknown gear, I was running in 3rd, ran him to 140 hit top speed limiter pulled on him, ultimately won till then.

My friend couldn't believe it, then attempted to film it on another pull but we never had the opportunity again. Nodded heads and parted ways.

Probably the most fun I had in a long time. I believe it was a Ferrari 430, outgunned in specs believe he was not a good driver. Never the less, a story to tell.

I just pulled with a charger srt-8 in my dinan stage 1 335i.

It was pathetic. All the mopar did was noise. Not even a challange. I have to say that I was surprised.
