Wow, amazing job wildcatcrazy! Worked like a charm. Thank you!
Does anyone have a link to the .IPO files needed to get INPA working on an F02 750Li?

Is there a way of changing INPA to display fault codes in English? Or have I just installed it incorrectly?

Thanks for the writeup/files!
I was having trouble following the other DIYs, but finally, yours was the most clear cut and all the files were ready to go in the one place - This really should be a permanent sticky. Already coded many options! I've got one error though: - Trying to add +MUEB to my E87 FA VOI know on other BMWs if you have a JB4, it has to be in map0 otherwise you get comm issues. I have a BMS Powerbox, and even in map0, i'm still getting the error. Any ideas?

I see that someone offered to mirror on Google Drive, is there any reason you don't want it mirrored on something that's more browser friendly for people to download with? Even if you'd rather manage both (MEGA and Google uploads), having a backup option has never been a bad thing in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate MEGA's interface and backend coding, but for those with Macs who prefer Safari, downloading from MEGA is a nightmare.

Click the link on the first page, download the DATEN Link.txt file, open the link found in that file, download the E89 DATEN files |

Is it ok that I flashed my ECU with MHD tune? Or should I go back to stock and then do what's in the OP for coding?
Lastly, should we upgrade our modules to the latest SW and then re-program them?

I dont have MHD but I do have JB4 and it has to be off to flash the TCU otherwise I get errors when I click 'Flash'. If you didnt get errors and the flash completed 100% and the car moves you should probably be fine but ,again, I'd wait for a definitive answer from wildcat or another tenured member. This thread seems to be more active at night when people are home or off work so it might be a couple hours but better safe than sorry. |

As for flashing updated software... I live by "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". So unless you're looking for a specific feature that was released in a later version (i.e., updated symbols on the cluster), or a fix for a current problem (FRM not saving your coding changes), then you're safe by not doing it. If you decide to flash a module, then you will have to recode it because all the settings you changed will be gone. There are too many variables/circumstances to list on why you would want to flash the module(s), so you'll have to do some digging and searching if that's the route you want to go. |
