They link to this thread as an independent test (as anybody would), but no where in their marketing materials do they state these gains as the standard to expect. After they do their own testing, they'll set the expectations in their marketing literature.

some of you are involved in current group buys that have yet to ship. I am sure those that have picked up the AMS core can attest to the fact that we ship....AND QUICK! typically or order leaves within 24 hours of the order being placed!

Don't wait! Pick up an AMS core before our special ends!

I would love to meet up but it is our 15th wedding anniversary so I will be a bit preoccupied. Let me know when ya'll come in town again though.

Let Michael know I am jealous of that Z06; just can't fit a wife and twin daughters in one (safely).

The link says: 'We even had a nice independent test done on it with some really nice gains'.

You can spin in however you like, but it implies that AMS commissioned 'nice' test to get some 'really nice' results. And they did - nice.

I'm done here - have a nice day.

Eric, some companies include the upper pipes for their FMIC (code3, and some other I can't remember), do you think they're necessary?

What you don't know is I have tested 3 intercoolers so far. Nice post though.

My apologies to Gen_92, I quoted the wrong post earlier with my picture post above

Now fixed, I'm sure many others were confused also.

That stock pipe is not that bad. I think they are doing that to avoid having custom silicon made to bolt to the factory piping like we did. I think the upper portion of that pipe should be changed to one with a nice large BOV but that's an entirely different topic

You must think your intercooler is better.

You guys are killing me. Those cast end caps are really excellent. I need to get back in on this. Damn BMW Perf tune has been throwing me for a financial planning loop. And some insane wheels -- BBS FI. I keep thinking -- it's fall, wait until spring, BMW AG stock is just going up and up. + I like to do things whole-hog to be more efficient: FMIC, DPs, exhaust, M-tech aero kit. Take apart the front of the car one time and get it all done!!!
