January '08 Production Thread

I don't know if all of these carry autos, but I found the following schedule leaving for NY:

1/17 Manon
1/24 Otello
1/29 Liberty
1/31 Boheme
2/1 Courage

Don't know where to find potential boat names/dates for K-line (i.e. Emden).

Liberty and Courage do for sure. I think Otello and Boheme does as well. Not sure about Manon, I don't recognize that name. I've been feverously looking for boat info, I've been waiting a month now.

Guess what guys, it went into production today

Estimated completion date Jan 24th, a month and three days after ordering!! I just hope my only waiting was to get into production and it will get on a boat ASAP, preferably one that leaves before February. Lets hope my luck has finally turned for the good.

I didn't even think to check their boats but could very well be on the Emden.

I ordered a e90 335i aw with black interior and aluminum trim, sports and premium package with the steptronic and paddle shifters....I have blacklines, front oem splitters and aluminum pedals waiting....I am also going to tint to 35% and get the dinan ecu flash...

I can't wait till it gets here.....Go Dawgs.

The 800 number says my car is done with production and headed to the port of exit. Do they tell you what vessel the car is on?? or is it a guessing game? Anyone else have their car at port waiting for a ride?

No, but your dealer should know. A few of us (e.g. TJW) have our cars sitting at the port.

Awesome dude. It'd be awesome if you got on the Otello. How long do the boats take to get here?

Check the OC, boys. Mine is updated as "Awaiting Transport."

This is not new news whatsoever, but it's nice to see it updated on the OC website (I'd read that it's terribly outdated info).

I think it takes about 2 weeks depending on if the boat stops at any other ports. Did you get any info on when yours will start production?

Right ON!!! On OC, still in production this morning, but awaiting transport now. However, the 800# haven't change the "being transported to port of exit" message since this moring.

Nevertheless good find haha

Dang. 800# says still awaiting vessel. I was 100% certain that was what it was going to say, but it still sucks to hear it. i have to stop torturing myself!

hoping for 1/24 Otello or 1/29 Liberty, I guess. Unless there are K-line vessels I don't know about.

K-line sched below. These go to NY, but the tracking guide on our site here says K-line is only for west coast deliveries. we'll see.

I live in North Florida close to Gainesville and Jacksonville, FL. My 335i coupe is currently on board the K-Line vessel: Caribbean Highway and is due to dock in Charleston, SC on 01/30/08 and due at the VPC in Greer, SC on 01/31/08.

Hi all - first post here, seems like a really great community. I ordered an E92 335i just before Christmas. Went into production around Jan 7th, I think, and was completed on Jan 11. Just entered my VIN on the WW website and found that it made the Manon (which left Jan 17) and is due into NYC on Feb 1...

Just so I'm clear on entering your VIN on the WW site:

Do you enter all 17 digits of your VIN but without the space that appears on the CA status report?

Ok, so on the VIN, yes entered all the 17 digits and no space. Got nothing when I tried yesterday, today was the first day anything showed up on there

Hey, I grew up in southern CT and went to college and worked in NY. It's hell living in Boston for me as a sports fan.
