Highly possible. But I don't like guessing. Try not to do comparisons with the numbers as we haven't even tuned this car. It's running a base map we created for him. But... You won't make the same power on high octane gas as you do with the same octane ethanol fuel.

Also, because you feel the need to type blindly about something you know little about, I won the Tier III Tuner Shootout for the 500 HP and below class the prior year running a PROcede and Vishnu E85 flash. Much better piggyback just encase you didn't know that already. So lets talk about backing it up... I hold the stock turbo world record with an AT no less. BuraQ has a stock turbo full weight car that traps @ 122 mph and consistently 121 mph to back it up. We have the 1/4 Mile XI World Record also. I'm sure there is more to come soon. So if your car is so fast, post up some 60/130 vBox numbers. I don't need to drive 1800 miles to race you in a half mile event. If you don't have one, there are a lot of them floating around SoCal which I'm sure you can find one. GoPro the run as validation and we can see if you can back it up. When it's all said and done and you want to switch to flash tuning, look me up. I won't hold your post against you, but don't talk about my nuts anymore. |

I never knew this got posted up! LOL!! For those who wants to know, this is the Godzilla map after few iterations ( 10 to be exact! ) from the man himself who is a perfectionist when it comes to tuning our cars. In our country its constantly hot and humid all year round, average over 90% humidity with average ambient temps of between 36 to 38 deg C on the day, about 30 deg at night. The numbers quoted above is correct where SAE numbers were 435WHP with STD correction numbers changing depending on temperatures of the day around the dyno. The car baselined at 275 whp stock on the same dyno. Car is an European delivered 08 M sport with DCT ( non IS ) and its full FBO not running meth with E70 fuel. The increase of power of the JB4 G5 ISO and custom Pro tuned back end flash was no more than 411whp on SAE correction. Back then when I was running this and made the dyno run, it was cold due to rain and on STD correction made 429 WHP. This time round we made 435WHP on SAE numbers alone but at this period it was a hot dry weather and made on 440 whp on STD numbers as you see here thus very little difference in STD number correction. Anyway the difference between both tune types are night and day, I'll never go back to a stack tune with JB 4 not because its a bad product. For anyone wanting bang to buck performance out of 91/93 octane gasoline ,the JB4 does it all with gauge hijacking features but for guys with DCT running on E85 like myself, the only way the tranny will shift lightning fast with max power is thru Cobb alone using Wedge/BuraQ's Godzilla maps! Thank you guys, the car is a blast to drive everytime I take it out for a spin!! |

You're sitting over here boasting about a jb4 user that was incorrectly using the product when he hit the dyno. I hope that makes you feel special. I'm not typing blindly this guy dyno'd on map 5 with only 92 octane when he should have been running map 1 @ 12.5 psi. No I don't know much about the other piggy backs but I do know how to spell "incase" bragging about Dyno numbers is lame bro and boasting about a flash making more power on pump gas than a piggy back is too. Just sayin

Dude, Im not sure where you saw that Map 5 was 93 oct and above. Ive never seen that requirement and I've been actively searching for it. I realize that posting anything on the internet is an open window for opinions but you seem unusually upset. Chill out if you're going to post in my thread.

Solid numbers but if you only made 411 with the JB4 and backend flash then your flash wasn't set up correctly. I've seen several JB4 backend flash cars dyno 430+ SAE no Meth. Meth I've seen 450+. Not trying to compare but obviously you've never ran the new BMS E85 flash on map 7 with E60 fuel and Meth. Glad you're pleased with your custom flash though. That's all that really matters.

My two pennies: I've been running JB4 on map 5 with 91 for 25K miles without a single issue. From my logs, I actually hit higher boost levels than I do on map 1

Yes you should hit higher boost than map 1 but we are all referring to N54 motors. You have a N55

Map 5: Autotuning map. Boost ranges between 12-17psi based on your cars octane, conditions, and modifications. Fully E85 compatible. If using E85 we suggest around 30% to start. Refer to the E85 FAQ for addl info.
per N54tech. Map 5 can use any fuel you want hence the "autotune" part.

Also, its doesnt matter what BMS latest update you have, your not going to get the performance delivery of the DCT as you would on a COBB flash only tuned by us. The performance in how the DCT acts is night and day difference. Same feed back is coming from those with 6AT cars Alpina flashed or not. |

Do you own or have you driven an N54 with DCT and compared in order to know if the DCT is performing "perfect tranmission shifting" ?
