I'm keeping my fingers crossed for someone with these turbos posting a 93 octane run without meth!

I wish Hexon would make a different bigger set of turbos also. These dont seem that bad at all but for people wanting more than 550-600 hp it seems like a waste of money. Those numbers can be had on the stock turbos from what I have seen (although not very safe of course). Interested in seeing more from them though. I wonder why they are only rated to about 21 psi Edit: Or am I reading that right? Is EACH turbo rated to up to 21 psi? Or together? They make it sound singular. |

Either one of you know a time frame for the RR650's? I'm looking to do something with my stock turbos over the winter. |

It's all about waste gate duty cycle. After you go above 500 it's starts getting expensive More fueling Clutch upgrades etc. |

There is a big difference between making 500hp on stock turbos and 500hp on upgraded turbos. With upgraded turbos:
- You make the same power on less boost - Cooler everything (charge air, cylinders, EGT). Allows more timing and leaner, further improving point one and better fuel economy. - Less likely to need as much ethanol or meth to make said power level. I plan to upgrade to Hexon RR550s and make 420whp on Australian 98 RON (Equiv to around 92 "(R+M)/2" grade US fuel) with no meth on as low boost as I can get away with, hopefully holding boost flat all the way to redline. Could I make that power with stock turbos? Yes, with lots of boost and very little timing, sending EGT through the roof and tapering off hard after 5000. Do I want to do that? NO. |

Not sure how much more abuse they would handle considering I pushed them to 30 psi. Unfortunately I took my meth off and my AMS FMIC can't handle the heat. I was hitting 200 deg IAT at Shift Sector. Time for an AD Engineering FMIC...

Any plan to up the boost when AD FMIC installed? or if meth is reinstalled? Or do you think anything past 30psi is its "breaking point"
