Wonder if it would even fit lol. The garret is around the same price but you'll get lag, but it does go up to 3 bar of boost. This would be quite an interesting project, I'd so give it a go when I've got the cash to burn!

It should fit, engine block is the same, should be a direct bolt on. Would also need new fuel pump and most likely injectors are different. Have to do a bit of research.

I rkn a twin setup would be better less lag, especially on a diesel

Does it use two mafs? For the intake? Have to find out how to wire in a second one and where to grab one from. Custom intake might be necassary. And all the attachment crap for the turbos like oil feeds or whatever, you'll need some knowledge to slap these in. Also the placement with other things in the bay may be different from a 320d's setup. A MAF sensor is like $300, turbos $1400, God knows how much the pump is, tune and downpipe is $1400, two k&n pods are like $200, an intercooler like $500, then a tune is $1000, so that's like $4800 roughly excluding pump, stuff to make intercooler piping and intak an also excluding labour if your not going to DIY.

It seems like it uses one MAF. Has one intake port, Looking at the photo it uses the same intake piping, it even uses same airbox. Same as the exhaust outlet, Space could be an issue maybe since this setup wasn't used on the 3-series, but it looks compact enough. Looking at it shouldn't be difficult, just need the cash ahaha.

Turbos $1400 (they come with cast on manifolds)
Bigger Intercooler $500
Tune -$1000

Fuel pump and possibility injectors, but these 2 your gonna upgrade either way to make more power. Could probably easier to find a engine from a wrecked X1 23d or 123d?

Bet Ruben would be the first one on this. "Bigger turbos" let me know how yours goes! You'll be the first one who can put it on! You've done everything! I still need to catch up with the custom exhaust.

I feel like I need to do the dpf delete + turbos + tune together just to avoid extra tuning costs

Nah forget the engine no point, they're the same. It looks like it might be a sequential turbo setup... Forget the intake issues then. Looks literally identical to ours, are you sure that inst a 320d engine lol. Custom charge pipe to fit a bov too . Lol trev, probably going to end up getting the 123d map on it after all that haha

I wish trev, I'm pretty cash strapped, bastards at work don't pay, and I'll need to hire something because this would be out of commission for a few days lol. It might be possible to have ecotune send you the modified 123d map to come with the dpf delete, and then maybe get it checked out locally to ensure it's fine

Oh Ruben FYI I checked out the supersprint DPF they just increased the price on it yesterday. Tune at that place in boxhill is $1400 superprint $1125 labour 4-5 hours @150/Hr and it takes 2 days to do as they send the data to Germany to have the tune done.

100% its a 123d engine haha it is the same engine, only thing thats different is manifold and turbos. And that comes as a whole with the turbos anyways hah. Makes sense why it would be a sequential setup. I think it would be possible to get them to send a 123d map, get the DPF delete from them as well. Bolt it all together, flash it and done haha.

Trev, DPF delete and turbos would be the way to go, then tune it once all hardware is done. With the 5k you spent on the Power kit, could have done this hahaha

Stop rubbing that expensive sticker in my face! It's a safe mod at that time! I'm happy with it so far. Haha it was the most reliable mod that time! These are uncharted waters!

If the turbo stuff is a direct replacement with the 320d's turbo system with no extra wires n bobs, that would be great. I would ask ecotune to supply that 250kw 123d map along with the dpf delete, that way you can put everything together and bam. wonder how the transmission would hold, should hold up tight

From looking at the photos it looks like it is, that would be the way to go tho, get ecotune to supply the maps and DPF delete, you could have everything bolted together in a day. I've read that our torque converters are rated at 450nm. So it could be an issue.
