WOW!!! That is fucking fantastic.

So will I see you by chance in the BMW F1 car this year? I am sure they must have contacted you.

I can do it in a stock 320d in less than 8 minutes on a crowded track for the first time.

Bet you cant beat that.

Having no speed limit is not a danger. Maybe you require limits to be set in order to assess how fast you should be travelling?

I hope you class yourself firmly in the crazy, less experienced driver category, because that's exactly what you are.

HOWEVER..........

It is possible to do a 10 minute lap during your first visit. You'd need the right car and about 12 laps to start to get your head around it, but you could do it. It's not out of the question.

Above all else though, if you arrive at the track with the attitude that you've portrayed throughout this thread, you'll end up bending whatever it is you're driving and land yourself with an Armco bill at best and in hospital etc at worst.

I suggest you wind your neck in, swallow a dose of humility and apologise to those fellow Canadians you've embarrassed

Matt

Well Guys..

I drove the Nurburgring TODAY.. 4 laps, in my Audi A3 2.0Tdi, My 335 is being worked on.. I have to say, as an avid tracker with instructor status, the Nurburgring IS NO JOKE.. its HARD, you cant see turns, u go down huge hills, you go up hills, you have parts you can jump, You can Die. in fact , A lot of people have already died. It was the most fun ive had in a LONG time, but shit you have to be careful.. Blind curves at 100mph one wrong move and say goodbye to your car.. It takes about 100 laps before you actually have an idea where the next turn is and where you are going..its long and takes forever, and its expensive, 70 euros for 4 laps..

It was awsome.. i def recommend everyone do it once in their life.. wooot

Why don't you go to Germany and just try it? Maybe you can do it in 10 minutes like you say and record it on video so everyone on this thread can shut up.

Just a thought...
