Haha don't worry Kent! More reason for better parts to fit in haha it becomes "necessary" to upgrade the parts ... that's what I keep telling myself hee FYI think your car is one of a kind that air suspension is so baller! The drop wow...

Doesn't make any sense. My car pretry much has a lot of the best parts already. Not a great deal more I can do to it apart from a few small things and other stuff I can't be bothered doing. Anyways, gone SO off topic. No more about me. Back to Tawfeeq. When are you getting to the track again Tawfeeq? |

Just a short update.
Last Sunday Vince installed a few parts on the car that I had acquired but never got round to installing. Its so great having a bmw n54 yoda close by. Thanks vtl - Nolathane subframe bushings - e92 vbrace (e90 comes with only a rectangular brace) - New angel eye bulbs from Don R - OBD2 port (I managed to brake my one off the bracket) - Coded out the disclaimer from idrive - Coded in the electronic speed display A sunday well spent in my books lol. Haven't driven the car much after the subframe bushing install but immediate impression is that I haven't really noticed any additional NVH. Car feels more planted and less floaty/ body roll when cornering aggressively. Because I did the vbrace together not sure what's making the handling better, but most likely its the bishings. Also found a common n54 oil leak (oil filter housing gasket) so have ordered parts from FCP euro. We also discovered my bonnet and trunk gas shocks were on its last leg when the bonnet almost fell on Vince, but I can confirm the yoda is fine lol (ordered gas shocks too). |
