I'm just throwing it out there. I have both at my disposal. But I hear staying with the 3.08 would be ideal. I wont be doing much from the dig, and maybe it won't have much traction from the dig with a single anyway? Comes down to how long my gears would be, or to where it would change my shift points to. Just a thought. I'm currently talking to Ryan Vieau at Wavetrac to send one of my differentials in.

Looking to order the clutch now. There are 4 different options? SST, PT, ST, and ET. I know that I dont want the 6 puck one due to bad reviews. Which one did you get that has more of the stock feel? The full face one correct?

GTI is APR stage 2+. FBO and KO4 turbo. 360hp. For something so small, it's ballsy.

Just ordered and paid for the Twin Disk Clutch, ST model (holds 1100ftlb and close to stock feel) through Jacob at Motiv. He offered free shipping.

Rogue Engineering refunded shipping charges as well.

Looking for rear diff bushings now.

Hope all the parts are in by the time I get back from vacation, so I can get the process started and I can post pictures of the progress.

Thanks,
I can't seem to give my money away fast enough. Waiting on boost concepts now. The fuel pump kit and lines are the last thing I need to complete the build. Well, and the diff bushings.

Wish I had more time in the garage these days. But here is an update. Cleaned the engine. Changed a few of the gaskets: rear main seal, valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, Oil filter housing gasket, oil cooler gasket.

Got some more goodies in. Sub frame bushings, diff brace, 335IS right side engine mounts, Motive clutch.

Anyone own a front main seal extractor? Or know where I can get one for a decent price?

Ended up buying one.

Test fitted the turbo kit. Now going to wrap the manifold and install it.

Anyone know where I could get extended intake manifold studs for the AD PI kit?

I can seem to get a hold of AD engineering. Left messages and sent an email.

It's looking nice. I would 'really' recommend relocating some of the items around your turbo, your windshield reservoir neck comes to mind right off hand. I'd also relocate all the wiring etc. in the vicinity. You will be amazed at how hot that area is going to get. I have ridiculous amounts of heat shielding and things still manage to melt. You don't want a wire to catch on fire after all that work. Parts of that area around the turbo will reach 500F+. I'd also strongly recommend, at minimum, one fire extinguisher mounted in the boot in case of an emergency. I would also wrap the shit out of the exhaust pipe coming off that turbo.

Thanks for the heads up! I have the windshield washer fill tube wrapped with heat resistant tape. The wires are also wrapped. The pipe is ceramic coated. Is that not sufficient? I still have wrap left and can wrap the pipe just in case.

It's not unfortunately, it is going to melt onto your garage floor. You can relocate it near the DME container in the corner where the plastic screen is at. The ceramic coating will help but I'd still wrap it for additional protection. Any wiring/hoses that is in the immediate vicinity I would relocate as far away as you possibly can, along with wrapping with some aluminium shielding. The valve cover top needs a thick aluminium blanket in between it and the valve cover to protect the injectors, coils and wires. Here's a pic of the heat protection my shop implemented to protect the area around the ST (shameless plug to German Motorworks).
