Nope, sorry I missed it this week. Were you there? Do you typically bring anything to the meet?

WE will be there again this Saturday morning. There is talk of a drive after the morning show and there is also BMW club racing the rest of the day and on Sunday at Willow Springs. I will be heading out to willow after the cars and coffee GTG to support our Bullet/Split Second racing team!

WE have been testing several types, the one he probably saw was the Logic HVI intake system. We are getting ready to test a new type from aFe. I was hoping to have it on the car for this weekend but I think they are not quite ready to have us try it out yet.

Cool. I'll stop by and say hi next time I'm at Cars & Coffee.

That 135i must be a screamer! I think the car is 200 lbs lighter than the 335i coupe.

So Jeff, are you heading out to Buttonwillow on Friday to support your customer base. I know for a fact that a bunch of SSTT equipped cars will be there... Not mine of course in case you were wondering BMW...

you might throw a code and a CEL light might appear, is what i would guess would happen, just going off how picky this DME is, if a sensor comes unplugged its gonna do something.

It actually doesn't throw any codes. I did it couple times and nothing happenned. I'm just not sure if it takes longer to adapt then...

hidden codes at dealership level? of course im just speculating since i dont know first hand of this, but i would just think that if the DME was still active and a sensor came unplugged something might pop up.. i know im done it once aswell when i was removing the SSTT a couple times i never got anything.

Jeff?
The codes for a sensor mismatch are not invisible so the CEL or Limp mode will definitely appear. What we don't want is the battery disconnect as this causes the stored code of Low Power level to be logged and that can cause questions to be asked.

Once the car is driven the sensor code warning will go away but too many of these and it will leave a code to be seen. So follow the sleep instructions and the world will be at peace once more.

Anybody around the OC should come to Cars and Coffee on Saturday morning! Looks like we are going to have a good crowd so if you can come, come early. I am going to get here at like 6:30-6:45am so we can park together.
