Oil Catch Can Update (black)
They have all gone out. Everybody should have a tracking number. If you do not please PM Adam@Riss Racing to make sure you get one.
For those of you that bought early thank you, and you were rewarded with FREE N54 KITs! That being said, The N54 kit WILL NO LONGER BE FREE. Thew new site should be finished tomorrow or the following day and the catch cans will be available for purchase there. If you want to order now please PM me for an invoice. Thanks, and enjoy |

I installed mine today. Not much room in there. I could not install on the nut next to the washer.
To be able to install on the 10mm nut next to the washer fluid I would have to fab another 'L' bracket. The only 'L' bracket that came with the CC only attaches to CC. Is there a bracket that is missing. The DIY seems to show another smaller 'L' bracket that attaches to the CC's 'L' bracket that my kit didn't come with (Picture below). I had to attach to the heat shield itself. Fits, but real tight. I noticed that my oil temp is now running about 17C (31F) hotter than it was normally. Could that be due to it's proximity to the turbos? Any help would be appreciated.

All this being said there is no gain or drop in oil temp. Where the can is placed would make no difference since fluid thats in the can doesnt go back into the eng. It is simply an Oil Catch Can. |

EVERY N54 engine should have this oil catch can. The oil really does sludge up and build up on stuff thats not suppose to have oil on it. I bought one and am installing mine tomm ! Im so exited. Ill take a few rips on my illadelph and install it. Ill do a review on it. Protect your expensive motor please

Got mine on Thursday too!! Was gonna install this weekend, but planning on doing this tomorrow. I'll post some pics when finished. BTW the N54 kit is perfect! Awesome work. I've mentioned this CC to a few Evo and Supra buddies. They'll be ordering it as well as it is priced very low for such a great can.

They have a level guage on the side of the can that you can just keep and eye on yourself and empty when needed.
