I installed mine today. Not much room in there. I could not install on the nut next to the washer.

To be able to install on the 10mm nut next to the washer fluid I would have to fab another 'L' bracket. The only 'L' bracket that came with the CC only attaches to CC. Is there a bracket that is missing. The DIY seems to show another smaller 'L' bracket that attaches to the CC's 'L' bracket that my kit didn't come with (Picture below). I had to attach to the heat shield itself. Fits, but real tight.

I noticed that my oil temp is now running about 17C (31F) hotter than it was normally. Could that be due to it's proximity to the turbos?

Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure how you installed yours today? Today was the FIRST day we sent any N54 kits intermational, and nobody has yet recieved their N54 kit here in the states? So unless you took the one off my car I'm not sure how you installed it unless your talking about the old CC that did not have an N54 specific kit, and to mount it there you would need to have hand made a bracket....?

All this being said there is no gain or drop in oil temp. Where the can is placed would make no difference since fluid thats in the can doesnt go back into the eng. It is simply an Oil Catch Can.

Thank you so much. I am sure there are a ton of people who will appreciate your review! I just put up a thread a few min. ago in regards to the catch can and if it is needed. The thread has tons of references of customers who have seen the oil themselves. In some instances, there were small puddles of oil inside the charge pipes. Lets keep our engines running clean!

Got mine on Thursday too!! Was gonna install this weekend, but planning on doing this tomorrow. I'll post some pics when finished. BTW the N54 kit is perfect! Awesome work. I've mentioned this CC to a few Evo and Supra buddies. They'll be ordering it as well as it is priced very low for such a great can.

31 Degrees is HUGE, we're already running at 240 degrees. Others please post if you are seeing similar results. We might need to put heat wrap on this this if the turbos are causing an increase in heat. Extra heat = extra wear on the engine in the long run.

There is a drain plug at the bottom of the canister. That way, when you need to empty, just take the 2 bolts off the bracket and dump.

They have a level guage on the side of the can that you can just keep and eye on yourself and empty when needed.
