Price delivered is : Euro 49500 of which too much is tax! Still... very much looking forward to it! I was very impressed with the test drive. Definately the best 4 cyl Diesel on the market! (Almost everyone drives diesel here - much cheaper than petrol!) |

LMAO..See, all you Americans? (myself included)..While we suffer from clear headlight defficiency syndrome in the US, our counterparts in Europe deal with options such as "color coded door handles" (a big deal here, or you get black, no matter what color the car is) and things like "Air Conditioning"...
So maybe we dont have it as bad as we thought! |

Almost there for me too.
Had a call from dealer. It's here earlier than expected. I was originally given a date of late June. It's being PDI'd at the moment. insurance needs to be sorted. Pickup on Tuesday 10th May hopefully. Can't really believe it. It does make me a little suspicious why the delivery date has been brought forward so much though, any thoughts. Should I be worried. |

Andy,
that is great news. I really believe that there is nothing wrong with your order. If there was something wrong, I think they would delay rather than deliver earlier than expected. Congratulations again...

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum. Good to be here...
I just ordered my 325i yesterday: Sparkling Graphite Black Leatherette Sunroof That's it, starting off light for my first BMW. Very, very excited for it to arrive. The dealer found one that is on it's way to Montreal, hopefully that dealer will allow a trade for one that my dealer has (Parkview in Toronto). So if all goes well I should have it on 21-May.

First, BMWAustin:
WOW! Congrats on your new car! Good luck! I want to ask the same thing--are those windows tinted? That car looks HOT with darker glass, but it doesn't look really really dark. I love lighter tint. I think it adds that extra touch of class. weiweiwei: Yeah, if the car sits out in the sun for a while with black leather, look out! You have to open the doors and let it "cool" off for a few minutes. (it's funny how you can describe the E90 as being really hot and really cool and still be ambiguous as to whether you're talking about temperature or style ). Anyway, some like light interiors, some like dark. I'm personally a fan of black on black, just because I think dark cars look the sharpest. Besides, it's a little more pratical to have a dark interior when it comes to cleaning. The dirt doesn't show up that well on black interiors. I can't really say the same for the outside, though... |

Ordered a 330i for the wife to replace a 1998 528i on May the 2nd
I got her: Sparkling Graphite 161 Wheels (158 is standard for 330i in Japan) Bi-Xenon I-drive Leather Package Rear auto sunshade Sun-roof 6 CD changer An iPod to plug into the Aux input slot All told, I paid about US $70K for it. (Yes, it is about twice the US price here in Japan!!). Oh, and I neglected to tell my wife that I had bought her a new car - well, it is an anniversary present. I drive a 05 Touareg V8. Comfortable but drinks gas like water and doesn't even have seat memory. |
