Crap, there are way more choices for the regular E90 than the M3 E90. Space gray, saddle leather... not options on the M3 sedan.

Jason: So when will the new pricing populate the configurator page on ordered units? Mine still shows Blocked

BTW - to rmmcdaniel or anyone who knows - am I correct in seeing that PDC for the M3 E90 is still rear only for 2009? And it's front + rear on the regular 3er now?

While I have been waiting for the shadow trim, I'm actually hopeful that this is a step toward getting us the M tech sport package like europe gets. Would love to have the dark headliner, pillars and molded bumpers.

an update for canadians: i was in putting my deposit down for my 335xi coupe (now to be called 335 xdrive coupe) and apparently dakota leather is now standard, as well as the hifi system with 10 speakers (2 subs). bluetooth and bmw assist are also standard.

Yes, you are correct (as far as I know). Rear-only on M3 while regular 3'er gets front and rear. I base this on the info from the ordering guide and the fact that the Vehicle Inquiry Report for my order (which was updated yesterday to add the 6NF Smartphone Integration option) lists it as rear-only PDC.

Nice 18" Style 287 Wheels caused the big increase in the price of the Sports Package.
They are similar to the 19" Style 199 Wheel design which is a $4500 'accessory.' So if you like the Style 287 wheel design and want 18" wheels you save $4500, kinda. CA told me the full prices on the options are due next week 8/25-29 like Nav with new iDrive, Auto Transmission, etc. Expect more price increases beyond the 5% for the 2009 LCI Sedan. This pricelist just included the Base Price and the Packages. Logic 7 has 13 speakers, with one in the center of the console, plus digital DSP surround sound versus analog in the regular HiFi stereo. Full 2009 BMW Pricing Guide was released today Saturday 8/23. Look for a post on Bimmerfile and Bimmerfest.
NO New Price Increases other than what is in the 2009 BMW Pricelist released on Wednesday 8/20. That Rocks....except for the +5% 3 Series and 2% M3 Price Bumps. New iDrive 2.0 in the Nav Package is the SAME price. Unless it has been delayed.... They removed the DVD player and included a Hard Drive. But the Screen is much better. Go figure... The likely reason there are no more Price increases is that most of the option prices were already increased in June 2008. There looks to be a typo in that the European Delivery and Diplomatic M3 Prices are the same as the US MSRP Price. That can't be right. Smartphone integration is listed for $150. Might be a cable, a cradle and software. Imagine how many new Smartphones will be released over the next few months that this setup has to be compatible with. New Blackberry Bold 9000 and Touchscreen Thunder 9500 will Rock, but will likely require a software update. A nightmare waiting.... Also the 'Accessories' like 19" Wheel Options and M-Aerodynamic Kit etc are not listed. They are dealer installed or installed at the VPC. So still holding my breath about those prices. Might even be a delay since these kits for 2009's might not be ready yet. No color or interior leather codes are included to confirm things like Space Gray in the e90 M3 or what color Chestnut looks like. But the German Konfigurator has been holding steady with these NEW options. Alarm and Carbon Fiber Interior Trim along with the M-Aero Kit can now be done at the VPC saving some Johnny Cash $$$$. I only have the M3 and 3 Series Pricing List from my CA. My Blackberry Rocks 24/7. Cheers PS My buddy just picked up a 2008 Jerez Black with Fox Red Leather and DCT M3 Coupe. The Devil is tempting me at every turn. };-(o) Last edited by nyc_dude; 08-24-2008 at 04:14 PM.. |

I'm in the same boat, order subject to pricing, and I'm almost having second thoughts given the cryptic pricing. I have no idea the cost of other options. E90 335i Monaco Blue Premium Pckg Sport Pkg Cold Weather Pkg Automatic Trans Comfort Access Logic7 iPod Adapter Based on my best guesstimate pricing, the car is going t come out anywhere between 47k to 49k before taxes. That's a bit harsh for a 3er... |

Also note that the HD Radio option has become a no-charge addition to the navigation system, saving $350 MSRP for folks that would have ordered both. --LR

Based on the 2009 MSRPs, my 2008 pre price increase E90 stickered at $45,575. The same 2009 would be $48,625....that's quite an increase for the LCI and front PDC....interesting.

My configuration (with Sparkling Graphite in place of Space Gray) would have been $45,756 MSRP in '08, and will end up at $46,708 MSRP for '09 (2.08% increase of $952). I get a bit of help from the 27.08% Logic7 price decrease to offset most of the 20.59% ZSP (shadowline) increase, but will just absorb the 2.14% base price (LCI/iDrive2) and 15% ZCW (heated steering wheel) increases.

you're not alone. i like just as you describe. the gleaming accent of the chrome trim is really nice. the black trim if it even looked like smoked chrome it'd be okay but it looks like generic black plastic trim. |
