I much prefer this
To this I get that they made the gauges larger and there’s no overlap, but the older gauges are also very easy to see. |

The gauge visibility doesn't bother me that much. I have all the import stuff in the inner gauge. I've gotten used to it.
But I know it bothers a lot of people. Overall I like the look and feel of the 992 better.

I would hope a flagship Porsche would come with any option that could be found on a Corolla.
It's a bit of a gimmick but isn't terrible for long haul drives. Not sure why you would want a car like that to drive for you, but to each their own. |

Also with BMW's and all the other cars . The CF roof make it look great , don't like a glass sunroof... I just posted the video above , because the review and comment regarding the accelerations and speed of this car is awesome .

911 coupes are awesome. The convertibles look like Beetles for rich folks.

And despite the extra weight, is a low 3 second 0-60 and low 11 second quarter mile car, at least as a 991.2 4S. The 991.2 GTS is a tick faster. Absolutely love my 991.2 Targa GTS. As far as usability, it works the same as a regular convertible. The only thing you really lose is the ability to move slowly while raising or lowering the top but any convertible I owned prior to the Boxster required that anyway. |

So besides the heritage of the Targa that my wife and I love, I get a coupe I want and she gets the convertible she wants. And for her she says it’s that same if not better than her open top experience in the Boxster, except for the fact that’s it’s so much faster and being AWD is kind of like having Ducati’s skyhook technology in the car.

Well here's the thing, the original 911 "targa" feature will work just as well now as it did when it came out. Take this new targa with it's erector-set. Will that be functioning in 20 years?

“The average age of all cars on the road is more than 11 years, up from 8.4 years in 1995, according to the Department of Transportation.” https://www.consumerreports.org/car-...200-000-miles/ So with that in mind, anything mechanical, including an engine can fail. Obviously, maintenance is key. |

I feel the same way. I don`t like the looks of the 911 in a convertible, or older 911`s with an automatic transmission.

I'll take the full second 1/4 mile penalty for the GT3 experience.
