M3 body style with a factory turbo motor would be my reason for swapping.

Either way, whether it's a 328 or a 335 it looks HOT.

I really dont understand this....all the money an effort put into this conversion...you prob could have had an M3,....used, or cpo'd....for gods sakes definately an auction M! makes no sense at all to do all that work that will unfortunately depreciate the value of the car. Looks nice though....

You're wrong.

Any full M3 conversion will NOT depreciate the value of the car if done correctly with quality parts.

If a car is in a front end accident and it only costs a few hundred more for the M3 fenders, hood, bumper & radiator support I can't imagine why someone wouldn't do it.
