I got this lip a few weeks ago and only had time to do the install this wknd.

The packaging - Perfect. It was wrapped in bubblewrap shipped UPS with no duty attached

The Product - I'm no trained painter but it looked fantastic

The Install - Like a newbie, I did a dryfit and noticed it wasn't "snug".. In hindsight I was being stupid 'cause i thought it would just hug the car without glue/bolts. Anyway, I went with the bolts / betalink technique. The bolts on the lip lined up perfectly with the bolt pattern underneath my bumper.

I celebrated my betalink battle by being very liberal with the tape

Verdict - Smooth transaction, very snug fit, easy install with no need for a fancy heat gun or voodoo magic. The only frustrating part was the effing betalink glue!

Will definitely consider another ****** product in the near future.

Sorry for the noob question, but what's the OEM one made out of? If this one's made out of polyurethane (is that what PUR stands for?), what's the difference between it and the OEM one? (pros and cons)

Ours is the same material as the OEM (poly urethane)

Got mine today. Perfect fit, perfect paint. As stated above the glue stinks though. If I had to do it again I would have went with the tape and just lived with the small gaps it causes.

Not sure. I think you need a different part numbered aero lip to fit the active cruise control.
