Spec'ing an E90 M3 :)

Sorry, thats what I meant, the CAR won't play DRM content, the Ipod has to play it and then the car just amplifies it via the analogue input, but you're losing a lot of sound quality via the headphone output / analogue route.

But, no DRM stuff, no problem!!

BTW: it says the maximum bit rate is 256kbps? Loads of my downloaded tuens are 320kbps, has anyone had problems with hi bit rate not playing?

My Viva La Vida is ripped at 320kbps and plays fine off my car HDD.

Black Carbon Structure Leather Trim.

I think the spec was a fine balance between wants, needs and costs

Just gotta sit and wait now! BMW shuts down for a month in March which delays things slightly - should get a firm date tomorrow, and then add three months on for the dealer demo period to run out. Been assured that it will have a 2k miles max on it but almost certainly will be far less. Dealer Principle has a fun runaround!

Looks like a good spec.

Just one point, if you have sun protection glass at the front, radar/laser detectors do not work through the front windscreen. They work thro the plain glass.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing the pics. I would have loved an M3....but I am happy with what I have.

does it have xenons as standard?

The red doesn't look properly red to me, trick of light?

Apart from the back "blacked out" windows and automatic 'box... I absolutely love it!

Can you really let a dealer loose in it for 2 months .... I have a suspicion we will see the lovely M3 in April

It isn't red red if that makes sense - but I think suits the white, and I wanted something bolder than black, after all it's a bold car!

The dealer will have to drive it - it is the only way I can get my full discount. The dealer will lose their 'demo discount' if they sell it earlier than 3 months, and hence I will lose my discount. I am saving about £12-13k of the list price and I think thats pretty good going really so can't complain. Plus the first service 1200m will have been carried out, saving a few more quid

As for the colour combo well it's excellent, absolutely love it! The more I see those blacked out windows the less I'm taking a dislike to them

Just hope you haven't got those holes in the bumpers (pdc) don't have a problem with it in principle if it helps people not to put nasty marks on their car but just hate to see it on the bumpers!

We have a local E90 M3 and lots of E92s mostly in silver / blue colour.Or white but not seen E90 in white so you shouldn't see many more!

I know what you mean about the windows, but the dealer is going to tint the fronts as well to the legal limit before I have it. Will make it look less like a fast van
