I know this is Extremely Late on this Thread But I just wanted to give an Insight as to doing a DIY on a Vinyl Top.
Rails all just pop off. Straight up Use Cast Vinyl Use a Heat gun to help shrink the vinyl Try and do it on a nice sunny and warm day. Makes a huge difference The Shark fin is double sided on, so you can pry up off that way its easier to wrap If you have any questions feel free to PM me. I simply Registered to help you guys out. I do This for a Living in LA. Not trying to Plug or anything but you guys can see our work on JSDesignfactory.com This Is my Caddy I just finished Wrapping. Took me about 2 weeks doing it all alone. ![]() An S2K we did for a customer of ours ![]() Like I said I just came in to help inform you guys on a DIY of an over lay. I would not say its easy but its not if you want it to come out perfect. |
