The earth has gone through countless global warming/cooling cycles, without any help from Homo Sapiens...however, I firmly believe that we are certainly speeding up the process with uncontrolled CO2 emissions....keep your eye on the Greenland ice mass - once that is gone, the US is going to lose a lot of coast, including San Diego....used to live there not long ago - sure do miss the 5th street restaurants and a great flamenco fusion band, Novamenco....
