I think the underlying, and perhaps unspoken, reason the for thread shift is a sense that if someone appears to be making exaggerated claims about something, it may raise questions about what other claims are also exaggerated. In this case, people can fairly easily determine for themselves what they think a installation would take them (as opposed to someone who does it all the time), but they don't know anything about the engineering, safety, reliability, or performance behind the product that's is being discussed. If someone says the product will do X, and it takes Y amount of time to install it, then someone who is skeptical of the claim of Y will probably conclude that the claim about X is equally suspect.

I admire your talent and tuning skills and what you have to offer to us enthusiasts, and I thank you for that...

While it may be possible for you to to do it in such a quick time, keep in mind you would be selling these products to the average joe, who may not complete this task in such a short amount of time as yourself. When people (potential customers) are giving you feedbacks and complain about certain things, you should take that into consideration, as oppose to insulting them and implying that they don't know how to use a wrench.

I understand that some of these critics may be fanboys of the 'other tune', but as a vendor/business owner/tuner, you really should not stoop to their level, because when you do that, you have ALOT more to lose than they do, trust me.

I apologize for being a participant in the 'thread shift' but i do feel like some of these claims are exaggerated a little. The bottom line is, regardless of how fast anyone can get into the ecu, people who are afraid of getting into the ecu will not be attracted to this, and people are are not afraid of getting into the ecu, will prefer to have a superior product like the Rev.II or the 'other tunes'.

Well good luck with this product and any other products in the future and I hope to see more. Thanks again for some of the great tunes you have developed so far.

I agree.

I agree, it's always good for the consumer to have other options.

Haven't read through the whole post.. but it sounds just like a variable JB2?? I never had one though, but don't they control the same things?

I'm glad I got the JB+ at a great price. Still seems like the fastest, cheapest, most bang for your buck out there.

The whole point to me about SSTT, JB+ is getting to stay out of the ECU. If I have to go in there to connect stuff, then any tune that requires that is not for me, no matter who makes it.

because this point is seemingly so obvious - this point has been stated and repeated many times.

... but i really do not understand how others could have missed this point.

Honestly, i do not see the point of this "no name piggy".

Shiv, If this is a attempt to get your rivals out of business, you should definitely match whatever products they have, price it a little well below their price, and possibly add at least one more functionality; then people will take it seriously. Otherwise, this is just a failed joke and waste of time, which in turn will hurt Vishnu's reputation.

If I was in the market again for a piggy back, I would surely would not buy the "no name" piggy, at least it cost me less than 150+. Those LEDs will make the beemer looks like a "RICER's" car inside. A BG is more appropriate if you really care about your car's engine, which is one of "its points".

I didnt mean to offend anyone. I am just giving my opinion.

People think that accessing the ecu box is like reading the bible naked. jeez. You're tuning your car, modifying it regardless of SSTT or JB+ whatever, just because you don't access the ECU box doesn't mean its somehow better. Use half a brain when you do it an there is nothing to worry about.

+1.. did the whole install under 30min.about 10 min to remove the cover to get to ecu.. 5min to connect the connector. 10 min to put all back in.. lol. pretty sure we can do it in sub 10min to just remove the bolt..lol.calling shiv a liar is just overkill
