I dunno about the fronts but 235 fit nice.
My tyres turned up. Just borrowed a ute to drop everything in then they call me to say the car is too low to fit on their alignment machine WTF!!! |

It's the aerolip and the car being reasonably low they said, including the skirts. It has the stock sports suspension and does seem quite low. I have taken it to another shop now that has a pit wheel alignment arrangement for lower cars... they are cheaper too, double win
I must admit, I get nervous leaving it at grease shops. I'm sure i'm not the only one around here though |

Anyway I think 235/40/18 might be a better size for you. The radius is 4mm larger than the stock size, but it would be a nice fit on your 193M front wheels. |

The wheels look fantastic.
The Toyo's are a narrower brand so i can get away with the 275 in the rear. They are slightly stretched the same as the 235 on the front and looks perfect because it makes the rims look bigger. Don't think 245 would work on my fronts. Can also confirm the offset is perfect...extremely agressive and flush without needing a fender roll. I will be dropping the car 1" now and they will be just right. The suspension shop said the E92 actually has great clearance due to it's wheel position (or something?) and since I saw him drive up their dodgy driveway i can see he is right (i am always behind the wheel so never knew for sure). The wheel alignment has made the steering feel lighter and when I floor it, she now grips and doesn't fishtail everywhere. Apparantly my toe angle was really off in the rear. Looking forward to meeting you all sunday. |

I was orignally thinking 245/35/18 for fronts and 275/30/18 for rear. Maybe I should try 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 for rear like u suggest and see how it goes but got a feeling that it might not hold. I am struggling a bit to get enough traction out of the OEM size when pushing. I have always perfered a car that has more handling to power. It just feels safer especially in the rain. Do u know if the size that I want will fit? Cheers

Hi Sam,
235/40/18 will fit well on the front. That is what I have on my car using 18x8.5 ET32 front wheels. So it should be no problem for your wheels that are 18x8.0 ET34. I am not 100% sure about fitting 265/35/18 on the rears. The e90 LCI has wider track than the earlier e90, so there is even less room than the e92 coupes. There are people on the forums who would say it is fine, but I still wonder if it might rub if you have people in the back seat with a full load of luggage. I was suprised how close the orginal 255 rear tyres were to the guards on my 325i LCI. If the specs are to be believed, the 325i LCI has even wider track than yours (3mm per side). I don't think that wider tyres will help with wet weather grip. It might be worse if you drive over standing water due to the risk of aqua-planing. |

I always thought larger tyres means more grip and aqua planing it is more of a problem if the tyres are more than half worn. Anyway, I kept in mind when im due for a upgrade.. cheers
