Plus the latest CanBus maps Shiv posted on his 'record' dyno run was on 19psi if I recall..

But you are right, more boost = more power thus one of the reasons hotrod beat you but remember hotrod is a freak of N54 nature so he may have beat ya anyway without the added boost.
Hi Septro,

I don't understand why you refer to hotrod

These races was in Sweden on the M5board airfield event. One thing is tuner dyno glory runs and another thing is guiding customers to push 17-18 PSI on 94 octane on the strip IMHO.

Isn't this hotrod's second freak of nature. What are the odds of that happening?

I was dead even with you using Procede Stage II default setting, AR catted dp's and DCI.

When you added octane booster things changed so did the apples to apples comparison.

In all fairness i was referring to the event . The highway pulls were done on much higher speeds than the 50kmh start on the event. the octane booster did not do the trick ... but anyway no tuner war here , important is that we had fun!

ah my bad - too many threads, but yes I agree that the tuner dyno glory runs aren't a good measurement for customer safety margins but 15psi 2 years was heresy to go past on these platforms and now folks are busting 16.5psi on customer race maps regularly.

Garage List
2007 e90 335i  [8.00]
For those who ran their 335s that day, could you list if you were running the newest progman software or the pre 29.2 software?

I'm still running the 25.2 software and I'm trying to figure out if the newest software is fine in terms of lag and power.

great to know that these are the same cars vs. each other. I at the fact that we burn some serious rubber against the competition (american muscle excluded, they rape us in straight line, and very few in the twisties - 'vettes)

+1. maybe hotrod is just THAT much better of a driver than most everyone else? how come everyone always wonder how his car or jb3 differ from others (and maybe they are.. who knows but i doubt it be that much of a diff if any at all) or how much more power his car is (always stock other than piggy), yet he is consistantly faster than everyone else.. i think it has more to do with driver skills maybe?
