Remember, guys. For a true full comparison, a night shot as well as a daytime shot (that's of sufficient distance away) with a decent camera is preferable. It provides a much better idea of what the Angel Eyes will look like in normal conditions.

Avoid cloudy days/shadows when taking daytime shots, as it misrepresents what the AE's will look like in full daytime light.

Pictures are deceptive... from what I can tell, the only angel-eye upgrade is the OSS, but I'll wait 'till it gets down to the $200's and I'll buy it on the spot... $500 is too much for me. 'Till then I'll stick with my $40 GP Thunders

The Lux H8 is for the e92 coupes.

You'll need the E90 angel eye units, such as the MTEC E90 v2

Which ones are they?

I was under the impression it would be the same? The E90 xenon and halogen should be pretty much the exact same, no?

Are there pictures of both the DTEC during the daylight? Also where's the best place in terms of pricing to get either? Thank you!

How do the MTEC's compare to the AngeliBrights? On other BMW forums, people seem more in favor of the angelibrights than the MTECs

I was the same way. Trying to figure out the brightness level of them. Search for Wiesslicht, there is pictures posted in another thread that has them in daylight, if not direct sunlight.
If I ever see the sun again I will take some "high noon" daytime shots, you just wont be able to see the before cause I am not screwing around in that small space again until I have to.
My personal observations of mine vs the Lux pictures I have seen is that the lux are brighter. They also dont dim when the lights come on. (I didnt care about this) But the Weisslichts color and light ouput were better than many others. The final factor in buying them was the cost difference to go up to the Lux was not worth it to my wife...uh... I mean me.

I am happy with the look over stock without blowing TOO much cash.

Find that thread you were talking about and I'll happily update the pics. I just searched for Weisslicht, and went through the first page of threads that came up, and none of them had anything better that I saw, but I may have missed something.

So how long until we figure out if/how the new 335is LED Angel Eyes will fit older models and make a lot of these products redundant?

Thinking that someone's going to need to get a hold of the car before that's even possible.

Couple things in regards to pictures and im not pointing any fingers, but depending on the white balance, in can throw off the color providing a blueish hue or more whitish. So those judging on color have to take into consideration the white balance of the picture.

Anyway..

Anyone with Dtec?
