I'm sure you'll enjoy them. They really finish off the look and make a difference in appearance compared to those that are naked.

bingo. Wasn't sure I would get them on completely, but after using a little lubricant finally got them on. I'm glad I took back the sedan tips sinnce these fit better. Seems like the left tip is shorter than it needs to be (at least in comparison to right side), but anyway, looks good.

Thanks for the tip/s.

UPDATE

Just so everyone knows another option. The X3 3.0si (non Msport) fit, and are true chrome, not brushed. I like the chrome finish better. They fit perfect, part number is for the right side, just use two rights.

I recently replaced my tips with these, and I like them better.

Part #18-30-34-25558

Anyone want my original tips, they can have them for $75 shipped within the US. see post #69 and #70 for pics. If you buy them from a dealer they willl be A LOT more, trust me I know! Going rate is over $100, and they take a long time to get. I have kept them in perfect condition, and they are cleaner that new. PM if interested

My CA just told me that all 328i's and 328Xi's will now get chrome tips from the factory. I'm still trying to find out for sure if these 18 30 7 553 641 ones will fit an Xi?

Some pics. Just like earlier posted, but Chrome, versus Brushed. Sorry they're a little dirty. If you need some of these I can get a few pairs. $85 shipped. Just PM me. Dealer price is over $100, even with a discount. Perfect fitment, no hardware, no tools.

I had a set of brushed tips (euro spec), then switched to the X3 chrome ones. I sold the brushed ones, and can get more if anyone wants them. I can also get the X3 tips if anyone wants them. The last pic was to show how they fit. Euro or X3 fit the same. When I sell something I always post a pic of the EXACT part they are getting, as I did in this case. The tips in the picture are the ones I box up and ship. Should ship out Today as a matter of fact.

No deception here buddy. Maybe you should look at my Itrader rating, and the fact I have been on here two years, not 3 months like you. Maybe you're just pissed because you PM'ed me about the tips, offered me $60, and someone else paid me for them first, I don't know but you should know what you're talking about before you say things on here. Oh...I see now. I searched all your posts, and anytime someone is selling something you low-ball them. Nice

it doesnt matter you put up pics of the x3 tips and tried selling them as "euro tips" (http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=73395 - 4th pic in the post)....basically you are trying to upsell ur own items by claiming there are no US tips when indeed there are....and please, why would i be pissed that someone else got ripped off by u when ur trying to sell "euro tips" when anybody can buy x3 tips from online or the dealer.

There is no upsell to be had. These are not Accessory tips, they are different. Yes you can buy them from any dealer, but they are more expensive. I think you could stand to grow up a little. Read the post, I can get either one. Just offering. I can get an employee discount, I just can't order 25 sets. I can get a few of either type, and was trying to pass on a little discount to forum members. $85 shipped is not a rip-off. Sorry you feel that way. The brushed tips are from european coupes, chrome is from US X3. They both fit the same. The ones that sold, are Euro tips. The buyer understood, what is it to you?

Here's my $.02....for exhaust tips, brushed chrome is the way to go. Bright chrome tips only look good for 5 minutes after you wash the car.

I like the chrome look better. But I was wondering if the people that used the X3 tips ordered two of the same part number or the two separate numbers

Part #18-30-34-25553
Part #18-30-34-25558

that are listed on RealOEM.

Thanks

Hey guys, I put these tips on my 328xi coupe today (18-30-7-553-641 and
18-30-7-553-642) and they of course have those clips on the inside but also a bump thats preventing me from pushing them on all the way? Do I just stop at the inside bump or push them harder all the way on? So, is the very end of the actual exhaust tip supposed to be lined up on the inside of the end of the tips I ordered?

Thanks for the help.

Push them on until there is essentially no gap. Mine was a tight squeeze so I needed a little lubricant.

I'm looking for a solution that is perfect. I want the angle to be perfect and there to be no gap. Can you guys post pics of the 18 30 7 553 641
18 30 7 553 642 tips?

i didnt have any gaps on mine, just push it as far back as possible...they are brushed aluminum which is easier to keep clean, and also these are the tips made for the E92's so they fit perfectly, i cant say for sure about the other ones such as the X3 tips
