Well do the math guys. I am running a m10 nozzle and have a a 3quart little tank.
m10 flows 10 gallons an hour. 1.6 gallons ever 10 min of boost. So my little tanks lasts roughly 5 min of sustained boost. Which is nothing.

I think he sources from labonte and the largest one they have on their site is 4qt (and that is what is in Shiv's kit). You can call Labonte and see if they sell a larger tank, go to any manufacturer, or make one yourself.

My kit from Shiv came with an 7 nozzel, some earlier kits may have had 5's.

For me a gallon is going to last a month or more, just tooling around.

A gallon is more than enough for those that do not track the car and like to use it here and there! I have a 3 quart tank and it last me about 3 fillups of regular gas! Scott I already ordered the AR meth elbow!! Now I have to wait to see when Shiv decides to tell us what we need to buy from NX express...The new maps and firmware feel great, not much difference in terms of power compared to the 2-23 maps, but I bet the firmware was the major change in this new update!! 02 sims set back to 100% and no codes thrown!

Great. I just loaded the map and firmware up. Going for a ride shortly. I'm going to give it a try with one meth nozzel for now. Looks like Shiv might have something out "next" week that takes the methanol flow rate into consideration in the map itself (the harness update).

I found a good local source of VP-M1 fuel yesterday. $4.85 per gallon. Not the cheapest, but not unreasonalble either. Probably buy, some windshield wiper fluid in the 34% meth range, pour in about 1/3 of a 4qt tank of that and fill the rest up with straight meth. Will cost about $3.90 to fill up a gallon of 78 % meth by volume that way.

For those that got this update, the beginning of the tread states:
User Torque setting of 20% equals "Stg 1"
User Torque setting of 40% equals "Stg 2"

email:
User Torque setting of 30% equals "Stg 1" (13.5psi).
User Torque setting of 50% equals "Stg 2" (14.5psi)

Which one is it?
Also, will I be able to adjust map1 & 2 with a specific stage by entering a value in the User Torque?

Thanks

okay I have confussed myself. what perameters should I be logging under channel setup? so for the question , but switching between 3 different laptops has me all screwed up.

On a differnt note; I just did some pulls with the new maps set at 70%UT, 75%IC shift softening set to 0. Boost held rght at 16-16.2psi then tappered off at 6k. I saw NO boost spikes at all. Map seems very smooth. I would say that at these settings it feels a little less powerfull than my previous stage 3 maps.

I wish I had video of my pull as a Maserati Gancabrio pulled up next to me and we both hit from a roll on the highway. I started at 2300rpm in third (i was starting a log)and contined to pull away from him by about 5 cars at the top of 4th and I had to slow down. to much fun!

Damn you sure thats the boost you were seeing with UT at 70%? I am guessing temps are playing a role in the boost psi because today it was 45-50degrees out and I saw boost only go as high as 15-15.5 at most...Instructions say 70% should yield you 15.5 and thats where I am at, and 80% yields boost of 16.5..

Agree. Just got in a short drive today. Seem very strong, lots of momentum kept through the shifts (6mt). Looking forward to the next step.

I'm attaching the logs of two different pulls so you guys can load them into vishnu_analysis.. also, below you'll see the two logs overlaid in vishnu_analysis. I honestly have no idea what these graphs mean, so if someone can give me constructive feedback I'd appreciate it. My car is a otherwise completely stock automatic 335i running 93 octane. My map settings were 50% UT and 50% IC.
