Just got back from the IN-DASH beta firmware - and latest map update. First let me say this - it is VERY cool. I can't believe this is a free feature.

The car was completely cold (haven't driven it today) and just as listed, higher boost doesn't kick in until the car warms up. Not having a gauge, I wasn't 100% sure if it was happening. So it looked to be around 8 pounds while the car was not warmed up (temps are in the low 90's right now). Once the car was warmed up, it jumped up to ~14

It was a little strange at stop lights looking at a gas gauge that was on empty (something I never do) but I got used to it quickly.

The rate it which it updated was like the vacuum based gauge (Autometer) I used to have on my turbo Miata.

I am VERY pleased I went with the Proceede again.

On what technology? The dash thing? How can they patent something that BMW runs already? just wondering.. I'm no lawyer.. Isn't this just simply modifying/intercepting signals from what's already there?

Not sure if they can patent a feature that that uses BMW's patented products...

Patenting over patents for all!

Yep. These dash activation commands are from BMW. Unless Cpe patented the use of the algebra required to make the needles move the desired amount, it's a silly claim. If it is even a claim. Not to mention the fact that we've been playing with activation commands for a long long time.

Very nice! I would be tempted to put tiny bright colored marks with tape on the gauge at key levels.

Holy crap I didnt know you were working on this! I love how it works perfect and it is easy to read! Even though I am a jb3 user I love this new feature shiv came up with. Now I can just sell my jb3 and not buy a p3 gauge and have enough money for a procede for the near feature lol

Awesome Shiv! I wish this was available for non-Procede users as an add-on.

On a side note: Is it me or is your Oil Temp over 260ish?

Forget sliced bread, this is WaAaAaAy cooler.

Got so excited, I uploaded the maps/firmware in the parking lot at work and tested on the way home. Works great so far and it's a lot more responsive than I thought it would be.

Next up - sending the wife out on an errand in my car to see if she notices

Any way to make the max boost user adjustable? I was thinking, if I have my max set well below 20psi, there really isn't much use for me to have that set for the max. If I set it to 16psi, I would be able to guesstimate by current boost a bit better.

I have no idea if this is feasible or a bad idea for some other reason.

In any case, thanks for the new feature Shiv!
