When you say that the display mode selection is persistent, then can you select boost display, toggle to valet, and get boost while in stock mode? That would be neat to know what you're boosting stock. I realize you can't switch b/w fuel and boost in any map other than 1 or 2.

I don't get it. What's special about that? Wouldn't the needle move and stay put when you're in fuel mode? Do you mean to say when you start in BOOST mode, the needle first moves to display fuel, then goes to zero?

I don't agree as we can leave it in valet mode for dealership drop off. You don't want them seeing a fuel gauge going up and down. And besides, we only making about 8-9 psi.

If you're truly going to leave it in valet mode, then you should be turning off the boost gauge as well. But that's a moot point, as you should be taking it out before dealer drop offs anyway, if you really care that much about your warranty!

But if you can handle the complexity of your suggestions above (sorry, I got a headache reading those scenarios and suggestions), I don't see how you couldn't remember a simple thing like switching back to fuel display?

Having a boost gauge at all times isn't a bad thing, it can help you diagnose boost leaks I'd think, but then again, I suppose if you know what you're boosting in map 1 typically, you should be able to figure out if you're leaking or not that way too. Was just curious if it works in valet, not making a suggestion!

A moot indeed, but most drop offs are usually regular maintenance issues(oil change, brake pads, etc). No need for removal.

, if that's the case then you can have valet map remember your in-dash display setting (set to fuel gauge)

To be honest though, I don't think it will even work in valet mode anyways. The interception in signal is being done in the canbus network. When in valet mode, none of the diagnostic will work anyways, so I don't think the Procede will display boost in valet mode; but i can be wrong.

Hint: check your mapswitching persistency after turning power on/off

Does anyone know if a new firmware version has been released to correct the bug in firmware #20?

Haven't seen it yet. I'm sure it's being tested and will be released soon.

Weird issue. My Max boost is < 12psi. Mods are DCI, FMIC, on 91 octane and 70 deg outside. It stays pretty flat at 11-12 psi and doesn't drop off too much so could it be a boost leak or a Firmware 20 issue? I do notice much less power than I had prior to updating when I was running the 6/14 maps.

I was waiting to post up the fix along with some more active features but got hung up with other things. So I just posted the fix (firmware #21). No other changes. Posted in the usual place.

What's New:
Firmware #21
1) Fixes the issue where start-up map selection (map 0 or map1) was dependent upon selected gauge display mode (fuel level or boost). No other changes.

I don't think it is a bug. My boost is also around 12.5 but it runs less ignition correction , seating around 45... Before I was running 14 of boost but 80 of ignition correction.
