GA / NC / TN: Tail of the Dragon Meet - Jan 27

Weather is looking good. Weather.com shows a 10% chance of rain for both the 26th and 27th with a high of 54 on the 27th (the highest temp all week). The ride back has a better chance of rain though with a 20% chance on the 28th. It would be awesome if it were to snow the night of the 27th, after we got our runs on The Dragon finished of course. Reason being, that'd be the only time my car will probably ever see snow. At least while it's in my possession.

Yes it is much closer (4 hours to Atlanta), but I can't make it. Other commitments.

That would be a fun road trip for this weekend, but I cant put that many miles on a lease =( im already 1000 over for this past year! Have fun, take pics and tell us how it is.

Just Google Map'd the trip to the hotel in Atlanta. Turns out it's only a 498 mile journey at about 7 1/2 hours.

I thought it was going to be a 10 hour drive for some reason so that's good news!

I might break 5,000 miles after this trip because I'm at 3,600 right now.

Just spent the past hour preping playlists for the drive. Listening to my favorites from the last few years on the way there and oldies on the way back.

And on Thursday I go in to get my damn iPod integration kit activated so that I'll have it for the trip.

Matt, I'm not who you think I am. Trust me. Oldies to me are: The Beach Boys, Frank Sinatra, Four Tops, Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, etc.

Seems we've got 11 signed up for Saturday but what about the people you were talking about from the other boards or something, rit? I think 15 cars would be a nice round number.

And would you believe it ---- out of the 11 people signed up from this board, 6 of them have a 335i. Looks like for sure there is going to be:

(6) 335i's
(3) 330i's
(1) '89 325i + (1) '85 325i

I wanna wash my car tomorrow night but it has been raining here. I might do it anyway; looks like Fri. here will be sunny, so hopefully it doesn't rain Thurs. night after the wash. And I just got Z8!
