i have the same situation, i talked to my salesman and he cant get any updated infodue to the strike so he can only wait and can do nothing about it. Their computer only can see estimated arrival date but cant see the actual arrival day. for me, ETA was yesterday but nothing has changed in the computer
lets just hope the strike ends faster so everything can be normal

my car has arrived...finally...................got the call this afternoon that the car had arrived at the dealer. Will pick it up thursday afternoon..after they prep it up..only xtra im getting is the ipod interface......328Xi Titanium..black leather with poplar grey.....

I'll be there only later, around 5:30/6:00... But I asked for the dealer not to wash, detail, or do anything to the car. That's (Zaino gallore) what I'll be doing on Friday, so maybe over the weekend we can have a little meet...

Update for western people waiting for vehicles from Halifax. I spoke to the manager @ Edmonton BMW today and he said that they had vehicles in ontario right now and that they are about a week and a half behind schedule, and since some guys are getting vehicles this week it shouldn't be too long for us

God I hope so. I'm curious WTF's up with the Montreal guys being able to get their cars (even though their ship came in over a week after mine did) already? Is CN running out east but less in central Canada?

hope so too, apparently one of the problems is that Cn is not updating the data base so they are having problems tracking the shipments. Maybe it's closer than we think. They are working on a BACK TO WORK bill for the CN strike

Here is some good news on the strike!!! at least the east side of CN is back to work.

SOME WORKERS RETURNING
Canadian National estimated that 500 of the strikers have crossed the picket line. All of the employees returning to work are in Eastern Canada and none have given up the strike in Western Canada, Hallman said.
The UTU said on Wednesday that 330 workers had given up the strike, but it had not conducted a revised count on Thursday. A union spokesman also said that the only picketers putting down their signs were in Eastern Canada.
In a bizarre twist to an already confusing situation, the Canadian UTU negotiators who launched the strike, but were later suspended by the union's international headquarters in the United States, urged workers on Wednesday to end the walkout.
The UTU's new negotiating team has urged workers to remain on strike.
Canadian National has said government intervention to end the strike is needed because the union's internal fighting is hampering negotiations. The UTU's current negotiators say legislation is premature.

UPDATE

I spoke to my sales manager and he advised me that my car is on a train and is in Rainy River, Ontario which is just outside of the Manitoba border and about 996 miles to Edmonton. Which means that the car should be here in about a week. My car was discharged on the 8th of Feb so anyone else that is around this time frame your car should be close.

Hey good news man, My car is in sherwood park they are waiting for the transport company to bring it to the dealership and will be ready to pick up on mon-tue. But I'm going tomorrow night to try and push for sat.. Want to pick the wife up at the airport on sunday with it.
