I would get rid of that check valve all together since there are so many problems with it. Just run the solenoid as close as possible to the nozzles.

Why would you want to have a check valve AND a solenoid in place? They serve the same purpose.

this is true, but running both is counterproductive and will result in reduced flow.

the worst that will happen if a solenoid fails is the pump fuse will blow. It's happened to me before

Solenoid could fail pretty bad as well..say it stayed open flooding your intake manifold..not sure the checkvalve affects flow much except for the initial cracking pressure that it has to overcome for which you get a flow spike

Could happen but so far I havent heard of anyone with a meth solenoid that shorted in the open position...I am the only one that had a short with my solenoid a year ago with it shorting on the OFF position..Either way I see less problems with solenoid than the dreaded check valve..

No I never had a check valve but I have read of many members who posted having problems...I think I am the only one that had a problem with a shorted solenoid...It was shorted and grounded for some strange reason but luckily it was shorted off position

Just install the solenoid....better option than checkvalve IMO

The check valve will flow less due to the fact the ball bearing restricts flow even when cracked. Having both will introduce lag into your meth system and is counterproductive to what a solenoid is set to accomplish, which is instant meth spray.

I dont like those checkvalves, they clog, there is small pieces (snap rings) and all involved, i have taken one apart, and they are pretty cheesy, much rather have a solid solenoid opening and closing precisely as opposed to a piece of brass and a spring and two snap rings

Check valves all day anyday. The more bullshit I have to wire in...the more there is to break. I've run nothing but checkvalves on various car for several years. Never once had an issue

Here's one of the reasons why I choosed a Solenoid instead of a Checkvalve:

Big tom, good video. I have heard/read the same thing, finally I can see it. BTW the plugs fixed my misfire. Now she runs like a champ.

After seeing that video, there is another benefit to a solenoid. When the pump is off on a check valve, there is still a bit of leakage whereas the solenoid is an instant-off.

Makes me feel much better about recommending a solenoid.

It also looks like that could lead to more misfires/backfire with it puddling in the intake? no?

For the failsafe best is to use the labonte isf-30 which is the one included in the vishnu kit. For the rest i have the snow performance stage 3 dual nozzle and works great. There are many kit out so do some research. Progressive lets you fine tune more how flow you want.
