I am interested, but feels that $35 an option is quite steep. I undertand that it takes some effort to get a car going. But once that happens, each individual feature is trivial (maybe aside from the foreign character enablement). I informed a few people of this group buy and most of them agreed that $35 an option feels hefty. The $100 minimum makes people wanting less than 3 options pay a lot, and those that wants a lot of options pays ridiculous amount for a couple more Excel cells or whatever it is to be changed... not to mention we are at the mercy to repay if some recall/reprogram comes on board and wipes all these coding clean...

I also want to know how the chinese character thing is going to work exactly. What I am looking for is to be able to see Chinese and Japanese characters at all times, while still using English menus (or be able to choose manually between Chinese/Japanese menus). Is this still considered as a single option?

I also don't see 'continue rolling up of windows as door opens as an option'. Does that exist?

If Chinese+Japanese on iDrive is considered as 1 option, then I'd be interested in that + 2&4. Need some clarification on the matter to confirm tho.

Actually, count me out. Not doing any coding until I get the HPFP recall done, incase they will reprogram my car once again. Interested as previously stated after the recall is done (booking in for Apr 21st).

So, language coding may not be available for us.

Do any one know where I can find someone who can do language coding in YVR? I can also try DIY if there's any instruction... but I don't think I've found any info on language coding on the coding forum either...

That is not DIY-able. It is not even same thing as other coding which is fairly easy.
There is only Patrys who can do this as far as I know.
