Anybody find out if they're on the Wind yet? My phone status went from waiting for transport to on its way to the port! Lol, mine is going backwards. I'll ask my CA, unless he reads it here first

Still no luck on finding my car the WW website. I'm beginning to lose hope that my car is on the Wind -- still holding out hope for an email w/ good news from my CA today. Has *anybody* gotten news that they're on the Wind?

Just found out from my CA that my car is on its way -- on a different ship than the Wind though -- wasn't even aware that there were additional ships on the schedule.

Except now, in my boredom, I started working some numbers on a 335is instead, and it seems like it doesn't come out to too much more. ARG.

What does the 800# currently say on yours?

Found out, talked with a rep at the 800# that my car has left the port, that's all they can tell me though. I'm going to contact my CA and find out. Maybe ours are together on that same vessel.

cool.. Uh oh! You may just switch. I went to the dealership with the intention of getting a 335I vert and ended up testing the IS Vert and that is what I ended up getting. You might just get sold on the exhaust note! Come join the other thread I started!

My 335 still sitting at port today awaiting shipment. I guess it didn't make it on the Wind or the Triton,

What is the next ship leaving for the west coast?

DON QUIJOTE
Departing: February 26th
Arriving: March 23rd

But then again, we've been wrong on two accounts. The Don Juan left and neither of us were on that ship, but a few days later CKSV got on a ship, the Talia, that wasn't on the schedule. Same went for both Eek and I, the Maersk Wind left on the 11th and we both ended up on the Triton Leader the next day and that wasn't on the schedule as well. I say keep asking your CA and call the 800#, but speak to a rep, they have more up to date info.

Do you know if the Triton is making a SD stop?

Not sure... But the last time I ordered, the vessel was called The Green Cove. It made a stop in San Diego and I went to take pics of it. They should have just dropped it off then!

Do you know if that is a typical route? (Europe->Georgia->Panama->Oxnard) I'm surprised they make an additional east coast stop on the way over, since they only make one (bmw) stop for the entire west coast.

Weird. Did the tracking for the Don Juan or Talia ever say that they were going to Georgia? The Triton Leader's next stop (after leaving Bremerhaven) shows as Panama Canal.

Oops. I apologize, I meant to say that the Talia stopped in Georgia as well. I remember seeing that the Talia was headed to Panama but also remember CKSV saying his went to Georgia on its way to Panama. It's so odd, both Talia and Triton not on the W&W site both having the same route. I'm wondering if W&W picked up some of NYK Lines vessels or routes or something?!

OH man, i'm confused! I thought the above posts was in our Triton Leader thread. OK, this is really odd. So the Triton Leader and Talia will be in Panama on the 02/28 as well? The Talia is supposed to hit Port Hueneme 03/06 and the Triton on 03/08. I wonder if the Triton is headed to Georgia and there may be a delay due to the storm in the atlantic?! Or if the Talia and Triton will be in Panama arriving together but the Triton leaves 2 days after the Talia to arrive in Port Hueneme 2 days later on 03/08???

CKSV, did the itinerary for the Talia say it was going to Panama and stopped in Georgia? Georgia is usually the last stop for a vessel for East Coast bound vessels that make there first stop in Jersey.

I guess the Talia and Triton Leader will be hitting Panama together. Here are both of their positions.

It's like a race

I wonder if the second boat to get to Port Hueneme will have to wait while the first unloads its cars, or if they have enough facilities there to unload/prep all of those bimmers at once?

Not sure. I hope they don't have to wait. It is a race, I heard the Triton has a Procede upgrade.
