Willizm and Imperator,

Would I be able to get you both to uninstall, then revert back to the release firmware, and reinstall? Please let me know if your vehicles behave differently on the release firmware. I would love to track down why you are having issues as soon as we possibly can.

Before the beta release I tested on three manuals and two steptronic cars without issue. This is a bit of surprise.

Thank you and I apologize of any inconvenience.

Problem is rob that I tried and my car isn't supported on that release. My car got support with that Friday update and that came with bundled 2.00 maps. If you send me a map I can use with the more current firmware I could try it, but not sure if the older maps are compatible with the newer firmware. I'm steptronic just like imperator. Clap, that may be a key difference why we are seeing it and you are not.

Btw, Rob does that data log I posted have any use to you guys? I was in a mad dash trying to document and test my findings because I had to fly out to vegas and had to leave the car behind. I figure it would help to get it resolved sooner for the next guy I suppose.

Yes Sir. I just borrowed a friends 535i and was able to reproduce what some of the auto guys are seeing. I should be able to take care of the issue pretty quick.

Cheers,
Rob

Awesome, the best way to fix something is to have a reproducible sample. I'll be keeping my eye out for the good stuff sure to follow. If your ever in Chicago are or Vegas I'll have to buy you a beer.

Rob,

Thanks for the info.

Adding this capability would be HUGE for the community and essential for the AP to be invisible to dealers. It would raise a flag without a doubt if one were to bring the car in with half a dozen module faults stored in the ecu even flashing back to stock with the AP. I've tested this several times and it seems any type of flashing will trigger these non drivetrain codes because I'm assuming the ecu loses connection to them during the flashing process.

The level of support us AccessPORT owners have received over the past month is amazing. It's Sunday night and Rob is hard at work still, having already (likely) identified a necessary change for us Steptronic owners using the new map structure.

Thanks again Rob for your near-instantaneous response time and hard work poured into this product! I'm looking forward to spending more time on this revised tune tomorrow.

Rob is actually yet to hit puberty, he shaves once a month if you must know.

I predict by the time stage 2 is out, he might have a peach fuzz lol

I have an 09 335 6mt with the original software on the car (no update/flash from bmw) with the accessport

What differences should I expect from 1.01 to version 2.00?

Willizm,

The fix that Rob made for our automatics seems to work just fine. I took some time this afternoon to reload the tune using the latest beta firmware along with Rob's revised map. The car now builds boost under part throttle and responds just as it did with the 1.1 map.

For the MT cars, nothing really. I will be releasing the functionality to clear codes in all modules in the car in the next week or so.

Cheers,
Rob

Bad ass. I've got that map loaded on my AP and as soon as I land and get to my car at O'hare I'm going to install the AP again. Got a nice ride home to test it out

Well you will be happy. I installed the new stg1 93 DIJEOS map and all I can say is holy shheepp this car pulls now. I think its better than before on the IGDOS map. Remember I just had my fuel pump replaced and fuel sensor plus a reprograming. The old 93 map that was released Friday or Sat made me depressed I wanted to go back to BMW and get the old IGDOS so I could have Robs old 93 map he sent me. But I have changed my mind now with the new revision he sent me. You will like it too. My car is AUTO also.

I just installed Stg1 93 IJEOS v201 on my car and now have the same code after updating the firmware on the AP to 1.6.3.2-2159

Any resolution to this code? I'll email support also.

I just posted in the other thread, but it can't hurt to update this one also. P2FA3 is a normal background code on an AccessPORT install. It is just a background code that does not effect performance and is nothing to worry about. We will hopefully get rid of this code in future firmware updates.

Stage 2 and then stage 3 for upgraded turbos. That's when I would start to become interested.
