Where did you get that info from? Your CA? I wonder if they are letting the Talia come first.

UPDATE: found it

I did, but I'm still waiting to hear back from my CA to see if the new pricing (I know new rates do) apply to already built vehicles. I ran the figures with the new rates, but it still ended up +$7/mo more for me. 27mo would be over $30/mo less, but that gets eaten up by the California vehicle registration I'd have to pay at 24mos (for that full 24-36mo period), so there's no point in that... plus that leaves me right at the start of the F32, so I'd probably have to pay near MSRP. That 27mo term is unusual, and probably just trying to bait us into that F32 release timeline.

As for the new pricing, I ran the numbers, and that leaves me at +$8/mo, if my calculations are correct. (my numbers may vary, since I'm doing 10k mi, bmw loyalty rates, max MSDs)

Check the Port Hueneme Website, under business, then vessel schedule. I also linked to the schedule PDF in the Feb/Mar thread.

Ah, I was looking at the right hand side of the website, the PDF still shows it for 02/24

They're docked in Cabo -- the crews are having Margaritas and Tequila shots, chatting up the local girls.

I don't quite get how the Triton Leader got to be a day late, considering it got to Panama on time and breezed through?

Haha. Hope there is one waiting in my car for me!

I think they are going to arrive on the 8th... that's what the Marine Traffic website shows for the Talia. I bet they will have to wait to enter the port until the 9th when the Maersk Wind leaves.

And the Maersk Wind was behind both of us. So weird! I wonder if all three of them are racing!

Looks like the Triton has its next destination for Hitachi, Japan. But its still in port. Waiting for it to leave and maybe its a good indication that its at the VDC.

Weird, right now (3:53p) it's showing the Talia as moving (a little bit)... I wonder which ship got done unloading first... or if the Talia is just now moving into position to unload?

Thought I'd share, as if we didn't know! These CA's must think we're crazy about obsessing on tracking our cars.

Hi,

Your beautiful IS is in the port. I will let you know as soon as it is here.

It will take a day to inspect the car and get Navigation code from BMW.

Could be any time now!

Mine hasn't updated yet Of course, the configuration is still (and probably forever will be) wrong.

In fact, I just got an email from my CA letting me know that my car is scheduled to be offloaded today. So I guess yours made it off before mine, and mine might have to swim to shore

My CA just called me right now and said that the financial manager is going to call the port and see if they can truck my car down asap because my payment is due and they want me to take advantage of the pull ahead program. This way I dont have to make my last payment and take delivery of my car, essentially paying for last months payment and first months payment on the new one. That would be pretty cool if they did, they offered to expedite. I guess I have to see if it gets done.

Nice!

I bug my CA so much that (a) I feel bad for the guy and (b) I wonder if he can make a similar call to get me out of his hair.

Of course, it doesn't help that my car doesn't even show as off the boat yet.

This weekend would be so awesome... -- I seriously doubt they will though. If it's not at the VDC yet, given the volume of cars dropped off in the past 2 days, it might take a while.

Has your online or phone status changed? My online status (above) still shows as in transit, and the phone status says that my car is at the port awaiting a shipping vessel!

My last email from Derek showed my car as still on the ship. So I'm getting three different statuses from three different sources. I've asked them not to wash/detail/prep the car though (want to do the new car prep myself), so hopefully that saves me some time...

I guess so, we'll see what happens though. At least I know they weren't just blowing smoke at me since I never approached them about it.

Well, my guess, since the ships have already left, your car is sitting at the port or maybe already driven over to the VDC, just waiting for someone to check it in. Man, I'm just scared of the truckers transporting it down. I keep thinking of that news story you posted.

Yeah I also checked the status on the website and it's saying it's still in transit. I called the 1800 number and it says that it's at port awaiting vessel.
BUT
I just got an email from Derek saying that it should be here either tomorrow or saturday

Awesome! Lucky you! Keeping my fingers crossed for a similar email. (Derek, are you reading this? Lol)
