Would you notice the difference between these and the BMW 225M's that I currently have?

BIGTIME,

what offset do you currently have on your 225m rims ?

I see these are ET35 front (OK) and ET30 rear (not sure)

Anyone else advise on the rear offsets for E92 & E93 for OEm versus BM Autosport ??

TBH I don't even know what offset means never mind what it is . I have a standard 335i Msport coupe.

My oem 225M rims are et37 front and et39 rear, but these rims are 8" front and 9" rear. You will be gaining 1/2" with the after market wheels - 8.5" front and 9.5" rears
, so the offset will need to be different. Basically an extra 12mm per wheel needs to be spaced out as to not rub the strut or wheel arch

An et35 wheel would be ideal on the front as this will give just 4mm less clearance strut side and extent an extra 8mm

An et37 wheel would be ideal on the back giving identical increase towards the strut and wheelarch as the front wheels.

Not sure if these measurments are available, but as near to them as possible would be best.

Folks how are we for trying to tie this group buy up by Friday?

Mark at bm autosport is pretty busy this week but has emailed me to say he can get wheel packages sorted start of next week if its a goer.

I thought this is ideal timing for us as it allows 4 days to get definate numbers. I'll give him a call once the list is sorted to see what way to make payment.

What do use think?

Thanks for your post Nick. Is it possible to get replicas that are just exactly the same size and offsets as my original 225m alloys?

Well it's sounds ok, but we have only got 3 confirmed people so far.

I havent seen any after market wheels with the same width and offset as the original 225's. I wish I could get some LM reps in the same size, but I guess it's nice to go a little wider with 235/35/19 tyres on front and 265/30/19 on back. If you go for 1/2 wider wheels with et35 - 38mm offset I cant see a problem. Avoid et2X offset because these will extend to far and rub the wheel arches, and avoid et4X offset because these will rub the strut side, and look silly because they wont fill out the wheel arch!

The rear offset is strange but given that they are OEM widths they should fit but I would stick with 255/19 tyres on the rear.

One more to go folks and we are ready to rock and roll.

Five is the minimum for the group buy so we can get more onboard if needed but it allows us to order from bmautosports.

hi billy rae i think its a 70 quid discount off the wheel you want so you'd have to see what price mark is selling the anthracite wheels. Give him a call to discuss.

Good man. Sure you'll get something sorted plus I've heard nothing but good reviews of mark and bm autosport.

Guys,

Any takers on the 5th purchase required to trigger the group buy discount,,

Conscious this thread is dropping at an alarming rate, dont want it to fall onto the 2nd page and be forgotten about

I have a "square" wheel that i need to do something about, so either a new set of wheels or a single replacement from BMW (£540) but need to be taking steps pretty soon
