Because shiv thinks I am awesome. What you see this as, and what it actually is, are two different things. The word vishnu doesnt come out of my mouth in here. Keep in mind, my comments are based off of this thread as well as your Meth kits and Power thread. So reread everything and apply it to the other thread as well.

I guess talking about different approaches is forbidden. And I agree, it should be kept out of the vendors marketing thread, however that doesnt mean its not allowed to be talked about btwn the members. Hell all they have to do is post the data and have a little comparisson btwn that and regular meth kits. Sounds like the community benafits from that to me? But I guess certain vendors dont. Which I don't really care about. If this hurts do/cm/snow/ect sales or pwm suppliers sales....I could care either way cause the data will show the results and pros/cons of either solution. Thats just the way I se eit.

I would recommend a solenoid, but personally run a check valve despite its dribbling which based on my logs from various tunes has no ill effects on my car.

The videos posted by Big Tom show clear visual evidence as to why one is better than the other. I just perfer mechanical parts myself, pure prefernce on my end.

+1 I am choosing to go with a solenoid, but they are just one more thing that could potentially go out.

I only heard of one pump blowing up....and that was me. Hence the check valve. lol

I have a snow pump and solenoid, a DO boost switch, and a radioshack relay to make it all work. It'll work on stock or any tune I choose without issues. As long as it sees boost it flows. Nothing more is needed.
